To start out I am very sorry if this topic has already been discussed. However I have done several searches and could not find anything relating to this topic. I am currently looking into buying my 1st 1911 style gun. After looking around in my very small town I have found a Kimber Eclipse Custom II that feels very good in my hands. After looking on the Kimber websight I noticed that a couple of models had barrell bushings and others had bushingless barrells. Is there any difference between the two and if so what are the pro's and con's of both. Thank you in advance for your time in helping me with this.
