I'm in

I'm reloading 38 super comp. My load is 8.6 4756 1.123 oal. I'm getting some rounds that are way long. And the ones that are wrong have no case tension. I can pull the bullet out of the case with my fingers. Not good.

Does anyone know how to fix this or what is causing it. It only happens with my used brass not with new brass.

Are you sure on that OAL number? That's awfully short for a .38 SC. They should be in the vicinity of +/- 1.250"

Perhaps there will not be a shooters packet... In the past the only information in there was the merchandise pre-order form, on the Nationals web-site it indicates that the pre-orders are to be done online this year. This leads me to suspect that they have done away with the packet and will instead post the information on the Nationals pages.

The last I heard was that they were mailing out packets that were suppose to arrive near the end of June. Although things may have changed......

[Fitting a KKM barrel?]

I've been having failure to feed issues with my KKM barrel on my Pro 40. When hand cycling rounds it seems to stick on the 3rd or 4th round out of each magazine.

Do the 40 magazines hold the same capacity as the 9mm 17rnd's? And has the feeding been reliable?

Hello everyone. I am from the Baton Rouge, LA area. I am fairly new to competition shooting, have shot several local matches, but have grown up around firearms all my life. I frequent several of my local boards as well as the S&W forum. Glad to be a new member to the community.
