They did this at one of the higher level IDPA matches last year, boy scouts I think. I wasn't there, but the report I got back was that it was pretty boring standing around & doing nothing for most of the day.
Saw this at a USPSA match in TX. The scouts lost interest around the 3rd stage

In my book very close to perfect. I would rather see 4 Divisions plus continuation of PCC (in which I have no interest). Open---Limited Major--Limited Minor---Production. At the rate we are going there will soon be as many Divisions as Steel Challenge.  Limited 10 has no use whatsoever. SS easily fits into the 2 Limited Divisions.

L10 has a use in the commie states

8 round SS mags easily fit into a division dominated by 2011s with 20-22 round mags?

Well I have bad news maybe. That is a 9mm Trojan and it was over weight with a flgr. It has a steel Ed Brown msh and well. I put a Wilson plug and GI rod in to get to that weight. The 9mm is tight on weight!

I was just about to question the weight when I saw your post. My Dawson 9mm went overweight when I swapped grips

My Para Pro Custom 40 cal shoots great. No problems I did put in an Infiniti Flat trigger and it's really light now.  great shooter. plus 4 MBX 20 rd mags for limited division

Did the MBX mags need any type of adjustment to run in the Para?

I like minor SS for anything but the SS Nat'ls. Stage planning like the production shooters. Get good mags, use good ammo, pay attention to extractor tension. A 9mm should run just fine.

This year's SS Nats was a little more Minor friendly. The year before I shot minor, huge mistake

Sounds like they are loading their rounds too long.

I have two PSA 9mm PCC and both require I load short.  Otherwise I have the same problem.

But it does raise the concern about pressure problems in their guns.

I thought that too but two shooters at my local club had this issue with factory ammo.

With PCC joining the mix, we had at least 2 or 3 cases on our stage during Area 2.  Competitor could not get the charging handle to move, or eject the live round.  Recorded time, shot the berm, cleared gun, next shooter.

We have been doing this a lot with the Palmetto State 9mm carbines.  Seems like everyone bought their guns around the same time and the chambers are tight as hell

I've watched videos from the Long Island clubs and (I know it's really not funny) I crack up every time I see the guy reloading his open gun with ten rounds in his big stick.

Completely off topic but I love the Uncle Paul profile pic

    Ok back to mags

    Swordfish,

You just have to have the firearms unloaded and in a case in your vehicle.  Ammo must be stored separate from your case.  If you are not an Illinois resident, you do not need to have anything special (i.e. FOID card) to bring a firearm into the state.

And that's a negative on ban mags.  We're still a kinda-sorta free state!

    Good to know
