I've grabbed the wrong mag off of my belt during a match. Pistol mags don't fit in my rifle very well
Time for pcc!

Sounds like maybe you had two problems and solved one. LW locking block might fix the other.
Changing the locking block might help!

9mm major works well in a Glock if you go all the way on correct mods for the gun. The SJC home brew kit for $550 works well because it includes their KKM barrel, which has an even tighter chamber than the regular KKM aftermarket barrel. That will help keep you from blowing yourself up. Then make sure to resize your brass properly and case gauge everything.
Add a 14 pound recoil spring and use SJC's comp. That should work great for major PF. Don't bother with minor.
My setup has been more reliable than the metal open guns that "real" competitors use. I shot mine for 1,000 rounds before cleaning it the first time because I was bored and felt bad about neglecting the gun that long. Even before the cleaning, it was totally reliable with major loads, just as good as any Glock.
The higher capacity in 9mm mags really is an advantage. Plus, bullets are cheaper.
As mentioned above 9mm is preferred!

I agree, but that being said you are within striking distance of a 2011.

I've only listened to a few of the speakers so far and have already learned some valuable information.

Shannon is highly recommended from me as well! Can't say enough good things!

I have broken both the magazine release spring and trigger s spring. I also carry an extra front sight and fiber rods just in case.

I have always been pleased with my tti prepped production glocks. My first one definitely helped me earn my uspsa and idpa master classification!

I have always had great success with Taran Tactical production prepped g34s.

For my g34 gen 4 they printed high at 25 yards even on factory American eagle Ae9dp. I needed a .245 for factory 115 ball and a .255 for 147g minor loads.

I have and yea it lightens the pull but there's still more creep because of the dot connector verse a standard connector. With all things being equal, the gen 4 will be about a half pound heavier than a gen 3 because of the tighter geometry. I've tried a standard connector in a gen 4 and that didn't work well either. I use medium backstraps on a gen 4 anyway so there's no point to a gen 4 imo if the trigger will never be as good. I've had several gen 4s and several gen 3s.
And the gen 3's are cheaper so stick with those. For me the gen 4's thinner grip and wider magazine release are ideal for my hands so I have to make the less than ideal trigger work.

I just bought a vickers glock and the trigger is much better than my gen 4's. Not sure I'm liking the RTF2 but I won't go back to gen 4's.
Have you tried the gen 3 trigger bar in your gen 4? Normally that cleans up the pull and takes a little weight out.

Using the exact same sns 147g minor loads I have had to use .245-.265 front sights. On all glock 34 gen 4 with same rear sight. Each glock is a little different and whenever I get a new one or change loads I take them to the range and sight them in. If high or low of aiming point I use the Dawson sight calculator as mentioned and buy the appropriate sight as a front sight is less than one trip to the range worth of ammo.
