Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm having issues seating the primer in 5.56 and .223 on my dillon xl 650. When I go to seat the primer the primer goes up to the case and jams. Some are stuck halfway in the case at an angle and some just don't make it at all and mark up the brass. I swapped everything over from my previous 9mm setup using the (.223 conversion kit) and I followed the video as well. The primers I'm using are the CCI 400 small rifle. Any ideas on what might be happening? Thanks.
  2. Thanks, how does one get the OAL better? I'm using a dillon xl 650 Reloading 9mm Using once fired and range brass. I have noticed the 'coke bottle' shape on resizing and it would be nice to alleviate that, but the rounds do function flawlessly.
  3. Hello, started my first few hundred rounds of reloading and have a few questions. 1) I'm not getting consistent OAL. The rounds very + or - .005 2) Powder measures also very (learned about polishing the ramp so I'll try that first). 3) Split cases. About every 50 rounds I will get 3 or so split cases. I do use lube however I'm stumped on why its still occurring. Could the flare be to large on the powder die? It doesn't seem to be excessive but is their a dimension that it should be? Thanks any help would be very appreciated.
