So I was loading yesterday and after about 500 rounds I wasn’t able to refill the primer magazine. The primers would go about an inch in and stop. I removed the magazine and was able to see something small (don’t ask me what it was) in the tube. It almost looked like a small piece of carbon. I was able to clear it with a pencil file and I was back in business. The question is has anyone else had this happen?

Thanks again! You’ve made my choice much easier.

Is ramshot competition any good for 9 minor? I can get some right now
I used to load it for 147’s and it works fine.

Yes it did. They recommended it and said its lighter turning it down that way, than fluting it.
Did they recommend the .750 diameter too or was that just what you went with?

I have shot both out if it. I got the 1-7 twist 18” tac barrel turned down to .750 under the handguard. I am working up a load of 77gr smk for long range 3 gun. I also use fenix 55gr for burner bay ammo. I shot the missouri 3 gun match last weekend and it ran great.

Much appreciated! I can imagine getting it turned down a bit really saves some weight too!

I just received my CLE barrel a month ago and have not had a single ftf or other issue. I cant say its any more accurate than any wylde chamber Ive had but I am really liking the barrel so far.

Thanks for the reply. Do you reload or do you shoot factory ammo?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Compass Lake Engineering’s proprietary chamber?
From their website...
“The CLE match chamber is basically the same as a .223 SAAMI spec chamber with a modified lead angle in the throat. The CLE chamber has
a 1.5 degree lead angle per side where the .223 is over 3 degrees. This allows for less bullet jump with out of the magazine ammo yet still providing an advantageous lead angle for modern high ballistic coefficient bullets. The Wylde chamber is .002 bigger in the cartridge case area and has a longer throat. On the average the CLE chamber will shoot 23% smaller groups with out of the magazine ammo.”Thanks for any information you have.

Man I must have the worst luck. I work night shift lol. Cannot get powder for the life of me.
Keep an eye out. Powder is still popping up pretty often.

Looks like a nice rifle bag. How long is it?

My Titan came from the factory with an 11lb spring and a shock buff. It has not skipped a beat and is the softest shooting limited gun I have shot.

I do assuming I keep my head together. If I try to push it to keep pace, meaning above my skill level, it’s an absolute s@&t show. I do love seeing how different people break down stages and seeing the little things adding up to huge gains in time and points.

Anyone know where there’s some N320 available? Also what’s a close alternative? Thank!
I’ve seen it pop up at powder valley and graf and son's in the last few days but it didn’t last long.

A point is worth 1/HF in seconds, so between 5 and 10 HF it goes from 0.2 seconds to 0.1 seconds. That is not much time. Even if you lose a point on each of 15 targets, that's only between 1.5 and 3 seconds penalty, but it can allow you to move much faster and more than make it up. Just one better entry/exit and one array on the move make it a wash. I would say that C-s are acceptable and necessary, or you'll be going too slow. This is shooting major.
If you shoot minor, the penalty is double so you will want to take a bit more time to avoid C-s. It seems that about 5 HF and below, where each C costs you 0.4s, you reach the threshold of taking your time to ensure A-s since 0.4 seconds is a lot of time to aim. And, it's *extra* time to aim, not total time. The calculation changes quite a bit shooting major, so similarly skilled Open and CO shooters will have different distribution of A/C.
That’s a good way to explain it. Thank you! It’s a technical aspect I just haven’t gotten down yet.

I use a toric lens in my right eye. I'm virtually blind without correction.
Okay I gotcha. I don’t need correction for distance fortunately so I may try a few different combinations and just see what works. Thanks again for the help.

Youngeyes turned me onto the Multifocal lenses and they work well for me. I run a +1.5 in my dominant eye and it has made a huge difference in my ability to see my front sight.
Do you use anything for your non dominant eye?

I ordered them from Amazon because I couldn't find them in stores. Hint, don't adhere them with spit. Use water. Clean shooting lens before applying.
Okay perfect! I’ll give em a try. Thanks again.

I shoot a 2011 for limited and use a 365xl for carry. The xl is small enough to carry appendix comfortably and big enough so that it wouldn’t be awkward if needed. The standard 365 is great too with the 12 round magazine.

Thanks for the info. I hadn’t thought about diopters. Any brand you are fond of or will any internet search do it?

So, I’ve been around multigun for a minute and have gotten serious about USPSA the last 2 years and change. I really wish I would’ve done that earlier because I’m loving it.
As far as the forums are concerned, I’ve also been around here a while. Mostly reading and only posting a few times. Yesterday I attempted to get my post count to the magical 50. My advice is to read the guidelines because they aren’t kidding about your post going to zero and being locked out of the classifieds. It’s a thing.
All that being said, the forums have a ton of info and it’s appreciated. See you guys out there -
Anyone use +contacts to see their sights?

The Ben Stoeger books really are good. Might want to by the mini targets also. They make setting up the drills a bit easier.
