Open project. Started with a 35 then converted to 9mm. Was told by Sjc it was a bad Idea to shoot major through a conversion barrel. I'm buying a 17 and swapping all my current stuff over To it. I'm getting there I just threw a gun together with no experience in this sport. Would love to get a Sti but can't yet. Hopefully some day soon.

Awesome. Sounds like you got figured out
-
What was the turn around time for that?
-
Eventually I will get a 2011 when i can afford one but until then what do you mean by smoother.
Just curious.

So is the only problem that it's hitting the optic mount.

I have a kkm drop in. I love it

As with any forum there is only so much new info. I am trying to engage some conversation. Seems like that's the point of a forum. So I don't get why I need to hear comment like a thing called search or beating a subject to death.

I am new to this and thought you could ask questions. Ihave spent hours on this forum searching and found about 50 different answers. No matter what I am starting low I was hoping to find someone with the same setup as me that had been there before. Thanks for your info

I started with a 35 and wanted to make it an open gun. I was warned about that. Didn't know if it were true or not. I hope you get it worked out. Have you ever talked to the guy at Sjc about it?

Winchester 124 gr NATO worked great in my g34.

How many 9 mm rounds does that Trojan hold?
-
Just went and got some and best I can tell 6.8 is suggested max. Looks like some are loading up to 8.0grs
Any load data to make major for a 34?

9mm ejector

Ok thanks. I'll check it out!

How is the glock 40 for an open gun. No ejections problem? How reliable has it been for you?

Shotting major loads. Will it still work?

In 38Super with 125gr JHP and Rifle primers, I managed to accidently load them to 1350fps 5" barrel no ports or comp and the primer looked ill, very ill. The cases were taking a real hiding. In a tapered and smaller case I think you are asking for problems. Sooner rather than later something is going to fail.
How many grains were you using?

I'd be worried about having Titegroup and 9 Major in the same sentence.
I'd love to see some picture of the primer end of a fired case myself.
absolutly. I will post a pic after this weekend. already reloaded. If im doing something unsafe I would love to find out!!

never used a chrono with the 124's. Registered 1280's with the 130 gr with no pressure signs. Took it up to 5.0gr and still no pressure signs and did go over 1300. It was a new chronoy alpha master. hopefully it is reliable.

I will go buy some and try it out. I appreciate the feedback.

130 gr swc with 4.7 on the chrono broke 165pf.

What is your load for Titegroup ?
124 gr fmj with 4.7 gr titegroup

Is this for a comp gun or uncomped gun?
glock 35 with a kkm 9mm conversion and sjc comp

9mm ejector
in Glock
What problem are you having w/ ejection?
My stock ejectors haven't ever failed to eject the spent case, unless the poufy load I use is fighting a stock recoil spring.
If you are annoyed by ejected cases landing on your head, as can happen with light loads, you could wear a billed cap. I'd rather do that then twiddle too much with the setup and end up with something unreliable.
Just my .02
I have a 35 with kkm 9mm barrel. Doesnt throw two cases in the same area but does not jam. I still have .40 ejector and heard you could tweak to make it better. I may be jumping the gun but seems I will have problems eventually.

Def go with the 34, or if youre dead set on having a no doubt major round....a G22 would be a better bet. Hard to beat the rounds capacity you'll get running a 9, though.
Is this a 22 in your pic?
