  1. What if you put two countersunk holes on the top and bottom and come in with two screws of that Arredondo piece. Instead of through the face of the button, each screw was 180 degrees opposite each other

Dang I dunno But i want something like this for my "junky, rough cut, unreliable, inaccurate" 930. Frick even just a bigger button

  2. I won a steel challenge club match with a 15-22. It has a T-1 MOA, STR stock, MOE grip, stock trigger

Edit: I didn't really mean to say "won", it sounds too pompous and there weren't any prizes, but I did get the fastest time of the day. I'm pretty proud of that one.

To be honest I didn't realize how fast my strings were until the 3rd stage. Even when I shoot pistol I try to put my mind in the same place lol it's so much easier with a red dot, not having to draw and without recoil. Plus it was a nice breezy 20 degrees that day

But yes im right there with you: I plan on changing the HG, looking at another AP Custom and I have a spare CMC trigger I'm dying to try in it.

  3. Aside from the rule book, assume my carry gun is my match pistol also: where is a safe area for me to unload the firearm? In my vehicle prior to bagging it for competition?

  4. I took a 16up taccom and bought a cheapo battle belt then took the backers off and ran the individual 2ups through the molle. Used the belt from the 16 up through the battle belt.

It's my "holy cow this stage has a lot of reloads and the 24 on my belt won't cut it" setup. I wear in front lower chest/belly

  5. I own the Swaro and the Vortex. I like both. I like the reticle a bit better on the Swaro for the drops (matches my load a bit better and has wind holds) and I like the lighter weight of the scope. That said The Vortex has a forgiving eye box a smaller more precise illuminated dot in red which I prefer. Both are great however if I were starting out today I would get the vortex because its like 1k cheaper. I am not selling my Swaro and I paid a lower price being a LEO but for a new shooter who does not get the discount the Vortex is the scope to have in my opinion.

+1 swaro reticle is hard to beat, I think when vortex puts out a mil reticle i'll switch then. I really wanted to like the vortex but couldn't get past the reticle. I don't reload so there's no way I could make or find a load to match it.

  6. Have a 14" with a skinny 16" super light set up. I actually hook my index finger over the leading edge of the handguard, thumb over the top. Little more stable for me.

AP's designs far exceeds anything else on the market, and he is, a hell of a nice guy.

    I'm looking for a 14", where'd you get yours?
