It’s close enough, not exactly 25% on each side but pretty close

Switching back to the stock rear from the adjustable competition one. Not my cup of tea. Loving the .90 Dawson FO front

My new sight from Dawson does it. Doesn’t really bother me too much since it shouldn’t fly out with the pin. Loctite as previously mentioned or if it has a set screw, use it.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI had to drill the .90 Dawson front, realized it after bending a FS punch and destroying a FS pin but afterwards the pin was too loose. I can push it out with the punch by hand

I used this one from CZ Custom and it’s adjustable for elevation and windage. Prefer the squared off shape of the rear sight blade on this one vs the pyramid shape one that came on my S2.
Did the shorter notch bother you? I measured .107T on my factory rear and .90T on the competition adjustable.

I use a dremel cutoff wheel to put nicks on the end of the spring to tally the pound rating. For example, a 15lb recoil spring will have 5 nicks and a 10lb recoil spring will have 1 nick.
Genius, thank you. Would a 60 degree file work also? Dremels creep me out, angle grinders too but not table saws

Looking for ideas to keep springs sorted out and labeled in those tackle box things

They need to quit f’n around and make a Shadow 2 Compact Shadowline.

Cool, thanks will try this and contact them concurrently but not in any order.

Anyone have the combo in subject? My rear sight is maxed out of elevation (down). My hits are an inch or two high at 25 yards still.

Sorry to go a little OT but I came in here to ask about this disco: https://www.czub.cz/en/eu-eshop/pistole/soucastky/sport-disconnector-cz-shadow-2.html
Has anyone tried these or compared to the pre-b? Before it went out of stock, they listed 3 sizes: 0.2, 0.4, and 0.6 which correlated with CZ’s factory “brochure” for accessories. Hopefully you don’t have to be logged into the IPSC forum but it’s here: http://s3.amazonaws.com/ips-cic-filestore/r35256/monthly_2017_09/S2IPSC_PDF.5ac388a44d242c7dabe428ab5fc4835b?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Content-Sha256=UNSIGNED-PAYLOAD&X-Amz-Credential=AKIAIR2IENL2WJBDXNGQ/20180521/us-east-1/s3/aws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20180521T090049Z&X-Amz-Expires=1200&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&response-content-disposition=attachment; filename*=UTF-8''S2IPSC.PDF&response-content-type=application/pdf;charset=UTF-8&X-Amz-Signature=84c3290ac0655203552fd3b04ac3c22fc0e6cb24ac6decb0d1c4397b15700afe

The account registration verification over there is about the same as renewing a security clearance ?

Thanks so much for the reply and the information! XDM OSP it is then. At least for this Sunday.

The IPSC Production list shows G17M is approved. Isnt the Gen 5 the civilian version of it? I’m being told it’s not approved.
Also, is there an IPSC specific forum?

I'm addicted, got the 4.5-27x ebr2c, the razor spotter, and the reticle eyepiece. I had the 1-6x when it launched but didn't like the JM reticle.
I'd trade two MRAD 1-6x's for my Swaro 1-6i. Maybe even one razor 1-6 and a Burris 1-5...lol

I don't think I let the red threadlocker cure enough. I let it sit for about 24 hrs and gave it a quick twist to check that it was good and it snapped free instantly. I had scuffed and degreased the threads too. I applied it much more liberally this time and moved it to a warmer area of the house since my basement is around 60 this time of year. I'll give it a little extra time too.
if you can find a machine shop to time it to your receiver, it's better.

I have a fitted Accuracy Speaks trigger in my 3 Gun rifle, light, single stage and quick reset.
Warning. This is a complaint:
I messed up my install, so I sent my lower and trigger parts to them to replace and install. We'll I got it back and my safety won't go in. I left a message and the dude who "installed" it called me back and basically told me to put a file on it again. What a junk response. Only reason I got this trigger is because it's a colt large pin and cheap on the EE. I would never recommend them.
-
Talbot for the best - also possibly the most expensive.
this guy also reccomends the most expensive stuff....
-
Over on m4c the thread about these triggers was closed because they were afraid of this new innovation

I got the new SLR one on order. Dying to get the syrac gen2 but it'll be out after shot show. Not sure why mfgs wait.
