Ditto on Fed Ex and UPS just leaving stuff on the porch or at the door. If it can be seen or someone's watching the truck's move through doing deliveries, you have no protection. It doesn't really matter how expensive the item is. I ordered a new computer from Dell, delivered by FedEx or UPS, I forget, but no signature required, and it sat on the porch for 3-4 hours before I got home. USPS Priority Mail isn't a guaranteed delivery either. One package was left by the door, with a note in the mail box as to where they left the package. A P.O. is ok for some things, but if the package is large, you have to go to the window for pickup and then you're dependent of the hours of operation, plus, we're getting into the Christmas season and those very long lines. If you're expecting high ticket items, you just have to be more proactive in it's destination delivery security. There are no easy answers to this problem.
