Those look pretty good for the price.
I suspect that you all don't use them while shooting, or do you? If you don't use them while shooting, do you just use foam plugs?
Thanks, Allen

I haven't seent this covered, but assuming the same powerfactor and a compensated barrel, is a light bullet or heavy bullet better for reducingh muzzle rise? I am currently loading 9x21 with 135 gn lead to 168 PF, and am thinking of changing to 124's. My max OAL is 1.150 ( P9)
Thanks, Allen

From bench rest shooting, you should apply steady pressure to the trigger, and if it seems inconsistent either you need more practice, or it IS inconsistant. You should know exactly how much pressure is needed for the hammer to fall, or you never will get good groups. All that said, some loads will not give good groups. Maybe have someone else verify that the loads are capable of an acceptable accuracy level is needed, then you can refine YOUR tecnique.
Hope this helps,

Try taking 11 years off instead of a few months-LOL.
My fist match back was all A's, but slower than I had remembered.I think I will get better, but I do think relaxation is important.

Lots of good information. I haven't shot in 10 years, and have 2 shoots under my belt now
( unlimited aimpoint). I never was fast, but always A's on paper ( but slow) and blazed on steel. I am realizing I really want to shoot fast, as I am 10 seconds slower on stages with ~ 25 round count than what I see others I feel I can keep up with. Last shoot I dropped 3 A's to C's in an effort to speed up, and am still slow....
I think I need to convert my steel skill to paper by looking at each shot rather than the bangbang as stated above. Thanks for the suggestion.

Those picts and the numbering system is greatly appreciated by me, along with all the answers.

Thanks for the help.
I did the logical thing and talked to Jack and found out they are #6-40 thread screws. That makes sense, as I have a weird #6-40 I could never figure out why I had it....as 6-32 is std.
So Jack is sending me some screws.
Thank you

Thanks for the information.
I just ordered a 029/ 4350 from Brian, and some mag holders.

Thanks for the link George.
As I suspected from looking in my brownell's catalog before this post, if they do have them, they aren't saying so anywhere I looked!
Thanks, Allen

I am used to a single holster belt that I take off while I am not shooting, and believe the purpose of the two belt system is so that the outer does not have to be threaded through the belt loops, and the hassles associated with that. I do not run my belt through my pant loops, and it seems to be working for me.
I need to get another setup as my son wants to start shooting, and I am torn between the Safariland inner/ outer setup, vs just copying what I already have.
Any suggestions on which way to go is greatly appreciated. I plan on using my 008 holster, 771 & 773 mag holders, and either the 4350 outer belt or just a single thick belt, depending on your recommendations.
Thank you

I lost a screw on my weigand scope mount, and need to get a few to keep on hand. It is a allen drive csk. flathead stainless screw that is 3.5mm x 0.6mm thread pitch.
Anyone have an idea besides calling weigand tomorrow?
Also, what type of thread locking compound should I use. It is a double sided mount, but I can get my slide out w/o removing the scope mount.
Thanks, Allen

Thanks for the idea's. I used a hair dryer, and it works great now!

I just bought a NIB final option ( 008) for my P-9, and I found that my weigand dual sided scope mount interferes with the inside of the holster. I am wondering if there are any tricks to making the holster wider where the scope mount interferes for smooth extraction, or do I need to bite the bullet and get an 012? Or, if not an 012, what else is a good holster to get?
Thank you
Allen

I recommend a dillon 550 to start reloading with. I have had my 550 b since they first came out
( 1988?) and used it for everything up to 7 rem mag. The 650 may be faster, but unless you are into fancy stuff the 550 works great.
