How much are new locking blocks? Something you could have two; one for practice the other for matches....?
$250

Lock block is cracked because of lack of oil, frame is cracked because of loose grip screws. Neither will be fixed under warranty.

I run 3.94ish measured on a gempro 250 over 180gr bbi at a 1.175 oal with a 170.5pf with the largest spread being 8fps. The recoil feels like a push rather than a snap
Is this data for Prima V or SV? I assumes it is a 40 major load. thanks.

Hello, I am new to open, shoot about two months. I have a question that the dot jumps not straight up and down but to the upper right and draw a circle. I let my friend shoot it and it jump straight. How I should do to improve the grip to correct this issue? Thanks a lot.
Time to get a new gun, man and give your gun to me since I shot it straight up and down. LOL

Don't you need a case in the station to activate the powder drop?

should I buy 40s&w mags or 10mm mags. again I'm shooting a springfield 40 loaded.
Neither Corey or system mags are not on their website, you have to call to order.

+1 for Tripp Research Cobra Mag
Corey(9 rounds) or System (10 rounds) mag depends on your need. Or get both hybrid and flex follower, then you can switch back and forth.
-
I might be wrong on this. But a correctly set up 1911/2011 should be able to run long or short rounds. Many prefer longer rounds because of more reliable feeding and less pressure.

Same great customer service experience here. Tripp Research are great!

Just got a Les Baer 1911 45 acp Consept 1 and want to start SS USPSA shooting. Does anyone have any experience and suggestions for holster choices for this gun?

That's correct. No restrictions in Open, Limited, L10. Production and SS appendixes both prohibit magnetic pouches.
thank you SIR.
-
The only issue is if you put them on mag pouches is complying with the 2in rule
That's why you want them on the fronts of pouches.
Sarge, I am thinking to set one up using your method for my Limited rig. Just want to make sure it is legal for Limited. Looks like it is not legal for Production and Single Stack.

Make sure to buy really good magnets. I think they are rare earth magnets or something like that? They need to grip the mag so hard that it will not fall off while running. Mags get pretty heavy. I have a DAA magnet that the only way to get my STI mags off is to pull them straight up. You can't just pull them off easily. That type of magnet might cost a little more.Ha....Never thought about the truck part. Probably can buy a round magnet myself and make it a lot cheaper.
And yes, you need to cover it when not in use. A buddy turned me on to a thick rubber pipe cap from Lowe's. Everything will stick to the danged thing if you don't keep it covered well. Scratches the hell out of your truck too!
Notice there are 2 kinds. One is stand alone, the other is attached in front of the regular mag pouch. Any preference? Or pros and cons?

Just curious what is the purpose of magnetic magazine pouch? besides magazine table start. They seem to be quite expensive. Are they legal in all division?

+1 for Trojan

Just got one for the 40L, gauge checking is really a breeze now, Highly recommend.

The other version BOSS hanger still in stock for about 5 bucks more. you can attached it to BT tek lock if I am correct.

What kind of mods are needed with the flex followers?
With mine (Corey mag + flex) I can load 10 no problem and reload easily with the slide forward. However I have noticed that sometimes the front of the flex follower will pop out the top of the mag when I go to slide lock, and when that happens the mag doesn't drop free. Be curious if there is a fix for this.
I have this same issue. thinking to change to the hybrid follower might solve the problem.

New barrel if I were you.
STI Sentry if you want new.

aren't you supposed to apply pressure to have a better recoil control?
I heard of 2 theories, one is to ride with the gun don't fight against the recoil, the other is to use grip strength to minimize the jump of firearm.

For me even I broke down the stage perfectly, there have been a few times screw ups(misses, firearm malfunction, magazine drop, not enough rounds in the magazine, etc) mess up my original plan. There is one time I missed a steel and somehow costs me the whole array.
That is part of the fun of the sport, I guess.

$250 is just the part. There are also shipping, fitting and range test charges associated with it from the quote I received.
