Can you do a sub 2 second bill drill? A lot easier doing .25 transitions when you can rip sub .18 splits. The Enos drill is a great way
to cut time on transitions, but if you can not shoot fast.......

Lock out that wrist on the weak hand. Stronger grip with the weak hand.

Buy once, cry once. My 1911 9mm gets shot more than my 45s. Springfield is a great choice. Still a fan of Tripp mags.

I have deliberately ran my mags to 1 or 2 rounds, but it was the type of stage that had 10 close paper. Maybe a 5 step run, and 3 more paper.
The shots were easy, the reload made sense.
Most of the time, better safe then sorry.

Good stuff, I will try the relaxed approach. Currently looking at the A zone perfs.

I shoot them just like they are a single. So 12 on each, move to 3, and let them come. Clean up what is left. Works pretty well.

A shorter lighter trigger offers me a lot less opportunity to pull the shot off target. As long as the grip is solid and the sites are on.............

Couple of my friends have bought the Dawson Precision Competition Ready Edge. They seem real happy with it.
When they decide to go custom, they will have a great backup.

It is a bad situation. Dark glasses, pull the hat down real low in front. I have thought of changing target order to help,
but once the clock hits, that plan goes out the window. Vhit is definitely less smokey.

Fun but not legal in Uspsa. Funny watching sub minor load shooters attempt.

Just another stage. Be solid. Call your shots.

Interesting question. To me, it is just as fast to see a quick sight picture as not. The splits are the same.
On the other hand, that quick picture makes it a lot easier to shoot alphas. Taking it a little farther, that habit makes
close partials and no shoots a lot easier. A quick sight picture. I am not saying waste time. Just strong fundamentals.

Just use the trigger finger. It gets smooth. Plus helps you keep your finger off the trigger during a reload.

Low 4s, still working on getting better hits.

170-172 is very safe

Take classes from a qualified instructor. Buy Ben's book and use it. Make a dry fire, live fire schedule, stick to it.
Shoot matches based on your skill level, not of those on your squad. Practice a lot........

Have MSA sordins with gel cups as back up. Went custom in the canal electronic ears from Soundgear. Expensive but worth it. Better noise cancellation, better hearing. Can wear them all day. Absolutely the best I have found.

I use both the Speedcross 3 and the Fellraiser. Fellraiser seems to be a little wider. Cleats last a little longer. Both great shoes.

Sti tubes, grams springs and followers, TTI base pads. 20 reloadable all day. Zero reliability issues.

I use a 12 in my 5 inch edge. In the 5.4 running a 11.

Yeah, grip problem. Get with a GM like Cha-Lee and take a lesson. They will fix it. Plus save a lot of time.
