  1. I shoot at ORSA and they put on a great match. 6-7 stages including 2 classifiers every month on the 3ed Saturday. Just started on line signup. Makes things a lot quicker. $15 members and $20 nonmembers.

    Thanks for all the help.

I shot Rocket City yesterday, they put on a great match. I'll be going back there monthly.

Looks like ORSA is next weekend. Do you have a link to preregister?

  2. I just moved to Chattanooga TN and I've found a bunch of IDPA matches but the only USPSA match I've found was ORSA near Knoxville 1 1/2 hours from me. Anyone know of any other clubs around the area? I searched the USPSA website but didn't come up with much real info. Some of the "clubs" listed aren't even clubs at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  3. I changed my mind slightly about going back to production with a G34 this year. I decided to get a 34 MOS and a RM07 RMR and run it in open instead. I've already got the gun, optic, and my trigger parts on the way but I'm wanting to get a few other small add ons to complete my rig and I need some info.

I'm going to use TTI +3 basepads on this rig. I want a magwell thats light and low profile. Has anyone used ZeV's IDPA legal magwell? It seems to fit the bill but I didn't know if the TTI pads would work with it.

Also I want a standard holster, not a race holster. Does anyone know if the bladetech black Ice will work with this pistol / optic combo? Any suggestions?

I have So many questions... But to answer yours first:

I love the ZEV IDPA magwell, it works perfect with all TTI 'pads.

Bladetech holsters work just fine with MOS Glocks.

Now, what are doing here man? Like ranger said, +3 magwells in open?! Why not maximize what you can fit in a stick? And why an IDPA magwell? and a regular holster? Are you doing some mall ninja stuff here??

Also, what is your classification ? Just curious on this one.

B production, C open. No mall ninja here. Just looking to get one rig I can run in open with a MOS Glock 34 and production with a standard Gen 4 G34. Problem was I had the production legal and +3 pads confused. I don't want to change or buy new mags (initially) to shoot either division. But I probably will eventually go with a170 to start and 140's on the belt. But for now, it's a poor mans two division set up.

  5. TTI sights, Storm Lake barrel, TTI production base pads, and the DK CustomTriggers CUSTOM kit. Stainless guiderod w/ 11lb spring and standard slide release, production legal in house stipple job.

Hey Daniel I may be in touch with you soon. A DK Custom trigger was at the top of my list.

Guess I should ask, Gen 3 or 4?

  6. I know this has been beaten to death over the years on this forum, but as time goes on equipment and accessories change and upgrade so in the interest of getting up to date here it goes anyway.

What set up are you guys running in your G34's for USPSA production? Sights, triggers, barrels, basepads, etc??

  7. I just picked this P-01 up from Automatic Accuracy last week. Had Matt install the Meprolight night sights, I added the VZ grips and a 15# hammer spring. The gun shoots great and so far has been 100% reliable. I definitely suggest CZ's as defensive handguns.

  8. It worked that time. Thanks. Any differences between the 75b in the video and my shadow I should be aware of (AKA parts that will fly away during disassembly)?

  9. I bought a SP01 shadow custom 2014 about a month or so ago. Liked it so much I bought a SP01 Shadow target to use as a backup gun. It's my understanding that the shadow target does not have the pre B disconnector like my 2014. So I thought I should try installing a new disco to learn about my new favorite gun. Thinking about trying the drop in short reset disconnector from CGW since I really liked the results I had with their springs. Any how to videos out there? Any advice? I'm not new to working on handguns but this will be my first time working on CZ's (besides swapping out hammer springs which hardly counts). Any help would be appreciated.

  10. Just an update. I bought the 17 round plated CZC/MecGar mags along with Springer basepads. I also got a set of thick aluminum aggressive checkered (textured) grips, "the lemon graters", and a bladetech DOH holster from CZC. I have a Bladetech here now for my X5 that is on a BOSS hangar with the thumb adjustment screws, I'm just going to swap out the parts to my new CZ holster and turn it into a BOSS. Add that to the CR belt and the Ghost pouches a did say I'm good to go. Thanks for all the help!

  11. There is also pretty significant difference in the design of the CZC 18 rounders and the MecGar/CZC 17 rounders.

The 17 rounders have a little tongue that comes up just in below the nose of the top round. Since the 18 rounders don't have this I have found that occasionally the round below the top round can work it's way out and cause the mag to not drop. I have noticed this only in dry fire practice where I am doing a lot of manipulation with the same few mags. I can post pictures in a bit.

These are what I am running now. I liked the additional length of the 18 rounders for more grip surface but prefered the other features of the 17 rounders so I picked up some Springer base pads.

Well, that just made up my mind. Thanks!!

Alma which Springer basepads did you buy?

  13. I like the cz nickel mags and got the Stoeger aluminum base pads too.

    They make an awesome combo.

Where do you find the nickel mags?

CZ Custom has them from time to time...

http://czcustom.com/cz759mm17rdmagplated.aspx Looks they are in stock in single packs

http://czcustom.com/cz759mm17rdmagplated5pk.aspx Five Packs Currently out of Stock.

Will the Stoeger or Springer Precision basepads fit on these? And if they do are they still production legal?
