  1. I guess that means I should already start reserving time off for next year.........ughhhhhh........can't even get this year finished before I have to start working on next year? C'mon Corey.....give my checkbook a rest at least for a little while............

    I hear ya.

My boss laughed today when I put in for 3 days off next year to attend March & April matches.

He commented that I could at least wait until December to worry about 2014 PTO.

  2. The Predator Tactical Shrike in 9 mm is a bit expensive but you get a very high quality single stack "race gun" right out of the package.

I bought one early this year and love it! It shoots like a dream and is tons of fun.

A lot of the guys that shoot our match love their STIs. With a few minor alterations, they are very nice guns that do very well in 9 mm.

The finish on theirs looks just as nice as the week they bought them. Like most 1911, you can change what you don't like with a huge assortment of after market parts and they will last a long time with proper care.

    Good luck!

  3. I came here tonight looking for answers to this very question and was happy to find this thread and the others people list.

For me, picking up the speed IS the issue. If time were nothing, we could all hit As all day. Or at least should be able to as a C shooter.

Knowing how fast you can go and still hit 90% or better Alphas is something that takes time and practice to learn.

Thanks for all the great tips.
