Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. 2015 match calendar is filling in nicely this is one that I look to every year
  2. The match application is online at: http://ipsc66.org/media/2014/12/WCRH-Fund-Racer-Berm-Match-app-2015.pdf
  3. nice pics! love the ball o' fire pic on the shaky can u count stage. AWESOME!
  4. 1 inch of snow & 70% chance of rain on Saturday and 50 degrees and Sunny on Sunday... that sucks! and not in a good way
  5. Any ideas when the application will be available? Looking forward to the shaky bridge, teeter-totter, and whatever other crazy stuff you buckeyes think of to screw with the Michiganians.
  6. The stages are set up for tomorrow's match. There will be 9 stages with a minum rounds of 268 needeed if you don't miss. Registration at 0830 - 0930 as usual. Lets hope the weather holds up but rain or shine the match will go on.
  7. I hear ya. My boss laughed today when I put in for 3 days off next year to attend March & April matches. He commented that I could at least wait until December to worry about 2014 PTO.
  8. schedule for 2014 is already filling in nicely. Ohio State added and time booked off from work.
  9. Can't wait to see what you guys put on next year. Mailing registration tomorrow!
  10. Thanks for this thread. Booked the time off today. Very happy not to have to traverse the rifle pits to paste next year!
  11. The Predator Tactical Shrike in 9 mm is a bit expensive but you get a very high quality single stack "race gun" right out of the package. I bought one early this year and love it! It shoots like a dream and is tons of fun. A lot of the guys that shoot our match love their STIs. With a few minor alterations, they are very nice guns that do very well in 9 mm. The finish on theirs looks just as nice as the week they bought them. Like most 1911, you can change what you don't like with a huge assortment of after market parts and they will last a long time with proper care. Good luck!
  12. I came here tonight looking for answers to this very question and was happy to find this thread and the others people list. For me, picking up the speed IS the issue. If time were nothing, we could all hit As all day. Or at least should be able to as a C shooter. Knowing how fast you can go and still hit 90% or better Alphas is something that takes time and practice to learn. Thanks for all the great tips.
