Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have a CompTac Flatline on the way. It can be used IWB or OWB. Give them a call, great service.
  2. I am new to IDPA. I am looking for the approved list of holsters.
  3. Answering trivia about Zen shooting history in the form of a limerick
  4. Thanks guys. I had to send the revolver back to S&W because it was out of time (the cylender did not line up with the barrel). When it gets back I will start gearing up, head to the range to practice and start dryfiring. It seems like dryfiring will be much more fun with a DA revolver than a SA auto. When I get to the point I can safely draw I will try an IDPA match.
  5. I just got back from watching my first IDPA match. Looked like alot of fun and I want to give it a try. I have never shot competitively and have not shot at all for about 10 years. I will make at least a couple of trips to the range before I compete and start reading all I can. I want to shoot a few matches before I invest too much money into gear and maybe a Springfield XD . I tend to start new hobbies and then loose interest. So what is the minimum kit I will need? 1. I have a S&W Model 19 4" barrel .357. I plan on using it to start out. 2. Holster - standard Fobus holster for $25? 3. 2 Speed loaders in my pocket? 4. ammo? .38 or .357, what type and size of load? 5. earplugs 6. I where glasses, will they do or will I need shooting glasses. 7. anything I missed?? 8. If I enjoy it, I may invest in some shooting lessons to unlearn all the bad habits I will get into.
