i do shoot 38 super comp and with being a 4.5 barrel i was just wanting to close off the 2 barrel ports. the lens gets gunked up and the blast is kinda harsh. i have made B class with it just am looking at getting a little easier feel to it.

i have been shooting the limcat for a few matches now and i am very happy with it, i do have a question tho- whats the pro and cons by plugging the 2 ports in the barrel? its a hybrid comp so it has a lot of metal to thread in to. If i use threaded plugs and dont like the way it feels i could just remove them? let me know if anybody has done this.

I just shot this at 9.68hf I'm sure once it gets shot more the times will be blazing it was my 3 rd match with the open gun.

When I bought my open gun the seller gave me a few hundred rounds for it to use, not having any 38super rounds I figured why not shoot them up. At a club night shoot I ended up having 2 squib rounds both times there were not much of a diffrance in sound and the slide moved just jammed the spent case, if this was the last shot I would think the barrel would be clear. Might have been what happened to you?

Blujay291 do you have any more info on you longshot load testing. ive got a few lbs and was going to try it in my open gun. ive got imr 7625 loaded now.

Well I got to shoot the limcat Sunday at a club match and had a blast shooting it. Ended up 9th overall and 7th in open. Shot diamond cutter at 71%. I did have 3 jams with one of my 170 mag in a stage, other than that it ran great. Will look at getting new springs for the mags not sure how old they are.

I understand it takes time, butwhen its one stage and 50-90 shooters under 20 rounds. I do thank all ros and match staff for the great work they do to make our sport happen.

Just wanted to see what's the normal time frame for getting club scores? Some places get scores out the same day or the next day but others take a week to get them out. Is it wrong to think a week is too long?

Has anyone used this combo? I use wst but a shooting buddy wanted me to load some 40 ammo for him and this is what he got. I might just load wst and have him replace it. If it is a good combo let me know

I know a few guys have answered this, I did a search to find out. But what I have been told is a good gap is a couple of thos between slide and comp. plus a one degree cut on the slide or comp. if they touch it might cause one of the two to crack. Hope this helps

i dont think there is enough metal to tap with standard barrel with a cone, but mine is a hybrid comp( ton of rib to tap for set screw)
