A bunch of us have been loading 3.7 - 3.8gr of Clays behind a 124gr .356 FMJ bullet for our 5" 8-shot 38 super revolvers in ICORE. Let me tell you. It is the "sweetest" thing you've ever felt. Clean as a whistle, and it will "drive tacks". I would at least be willing to "give it a shot" in a low velocity(minor) 9X19.

I can attest to what wobbler, Superdude and some of the others are saying. I've been running 38 super since 2000, 40 S&W since '98, and am getting ready to start 9mm Major and I don't even own a case gauge. Just use the Lee/EGW undersized sizing dies, and if you're working with range brass or severely bulged cases, clean 'em up good, lightly coat them with case lube and they will size smoothly and easily. You'll find it's always best with an open div gun, to "knock the dust off" your top-end between matches anyway, so while it's down, simply "chamber check". It's definitive. Bud Berthold

I've got another one here. A friend of mine owns a Llama 45 in a wide-body. At first glance, the mags look very much like Para Ord 45 mags. Will Para 45s fit in his gun? I don't own any Para mags to compare with, so I'm asking, does anyone here have experience dealing with magazines for these Llama 45 cal. pistols?
