  1. I can see where it would be helpful but i am just not setup to take everything i need to the range

I try and make a couple different loads and just take them when done we shoot and have fun slow but seems to work ok for me

  2. Working on my first reloads for my 308 first time for rifle

    Tikka T-3

    Barrel 20" 1-11

    Brass win.

    Primer Win lr

    44 g varget

    Shot five rounds

    2609,2619,2604,2614 2604

    AVG.2610

    sd 6

    es 15

Not 100% sure what all this means any thoughts good bad what i might try ??

  3. Well been lurking for awhile and decided to take the plunge. Found a tikka with a zeiss conquest scope not top of the line but not bottom .

Now to start reloading, and try and shoot as good as i hope the rifle can. Would like to get another stock for it but will use it as is for this year. Just trying to learn the ins and out of long rang

  4. Directions says it has a set screw but not one there can i get just the set screw or will i need a new sight?

A shim, solder or weld can be used to tighten a loose sight. The adjustable sights have 2 screws.

  5. That may be the case just tried the old sight and it will not slid in but are the sights still be able to be used since it is so loose now? It takes no pressure to slid it all the way in now.

And red lock tight seems like for the money should have s better fit

  6. Got Dawson sights in about 2 months ago for my xdm 9 had my local gun smith installed them for me rear sight looked like he used glue to hold it on. Did not think much of it at the time but it fell off the other day i can slid the rear sight in and out by hand.

    WTH did he do?

  7. Just wanting to check this out I am going to load up some mg 147 cmj using vv n320 will start out with 3.3 gr, oal of 1.115 give or take mixed brass wsp primers shooting out of a xdm 4.5 no mods done to gun Tried the search but was coming up with so much thought i would just ask thanks

  8. thanks

Just like the title says bought it new for the wife she was complaining she had to aim high to hit the bulls-eye so i shoot it a few times and the same with me shoot low thought may be the way we where shooting, so had a friend shoot it and the same

Seems to shoot 3"to 4" low at 7 yards give or take a yard any thoughts?

Talk to Sig they said i need to change the front sight to a #9 which should drop it to where we want

What type of hold do you usually use? Some people are used to a bullseye hold where they'll place the bull on top of the sights or cut the bull in half with the top of the front sight blade. Most Sigs are "combat sighted", for which you align the top of the front and rear sights but hold the front dot over the bull. If you are holding the dot over the bull, then you may need to swap the front sight out, as Sig has suggested.

  10. Yes she had a 22 that she has been shooting lol was hoping she would not like the 9 so i could take it over but it was not to be she loves it no love for me o well if shes happy that is good it seems to run down hill ha ha

Ok got my wife to want to go shooting with me [get the wife in pocket book opens up] We have bought a sig 2022 9 mm for her to shoot.

    If she's a beginning shooter? I'd start with a .22

and especially if you're going to be shooting indoors

    during the Winter.

Then work up to a very light 9mm load outdoors.

I have been doing some research on loads and this is what i am thanking 147cmj with 3.2 grains titegroup only because that is what i have the most of also have bullseye and unique.

She is just going to do some target right now but might go to a few idpa with me when we get the chance

any thoughts are more then welcome

Thank you all in advance this sit has been more then helpful

  12. Ok so other then they might not last as long every thing is the same that's what i was wandering thanks

I make it a point to case gauge all my nickle brass. They don't seem to last as long as the brass cases.
