  1. Thanks JMAN Iwill do just that.
  2. http://www.hodgdon.com/burn-rate.html I guess this is where I got that from. I shows bullseye, and titegroup about the same and power pistol slower. But I read in another post that power pistol was used a lot with good results. I am going to be shooting these load out of my G21SF.
  3. Well if that is the case, It is easer to double charge with bullseye then power pistol because it uses so little of bullseye compaired to PP. You could tell if you over charged a case PP because it would be 12gr and the case would be close to full. You can double charge Bullseye and it is hard to see. I have some 200gr JHP would PP be ok with this type of bullet?
  4. Thanks for the info I did not have a hornady load manaul but what I found i was not to sure of. Would power pistol be better for the type of load I am shooting? Is it cleaner then tite group?
  5. Thanks for the help but what bullet are you basing that data on?
  6. I have so hornady HAP .45 230gr I need some good load data please I looked everywhere trying to fine so good data. I am going to use titegroup powder. I also have some bullseye but it is a little dirty so I thought I would use titegroup this time. I was reading where the OAL was from 1.225 to 1.260 so that why I need some good data from you guys that shooting this type of load.
  7. So that brass is not to long to start reloading. M. For your piece of mind load 6 dummy rounds to your desired COAL. Look at your manual for the details there. Load them in a mag and hand cycle the slide to make sure they chamber and eject normally. Their has never been a instance were I have trimmed pistol brass. As for your Bullseye choice much will depend on the bullet you use. I will say that it is very old school and not used today to any large degree in the games. Jim Thanks for the info guys,I am loading hornady 230grFMJRN what do you think is the best powder to load with? I also have some titegroup.I did what you said about loading some dummy rounds and it cycled fine my max OAL was 1.265. I checked in the reload manual and it said the OAL on that bullet should be 1.275 it seem a little long but it cycled fine, This is my first progressive press and I wont to do it right not learn do bad habits..
  8. So that brass is not to long to start reloading.
  9. I shoot long range rifle and we check everything, Reloading .45ACP for my glock21 I am reloading once shot brass and after I sized the brass in mic to .994 and it said to trim to .888 do I need to trim the brass before every reload? I am going to use bulleye powder and WIN primers I hope this is a good combo?
  10. How do you like N320 I have a friend that loves N320 with 230 hornady FMJRN. What reload data are you using with HAP?
  11. Thanks guys I have about 4lbs titegroup so I guess I will fine me some good load data for titegroup and load these hornady 230FMJRN. I hope titegroup powder is OK to use?
  12. Thanks for the fast reply, Yes I found a ton of data. I was reading where glocks had some issues with damage from reloads due to unsupported chamber and reloading errors due to double charges other then that is there any reason not to reload?
  13. I am new to reloading for glocks and I have a G21SF and I was going to use titegroup and hornady 230FMJRN and CCI300 primers what would be a good accurate load data to start with? I was told that titegroup was easy to meter. Thanks guys for the help.
  14. I shot large frames and I found that Jeff at GlockTriggers.com has the best triggers out there, You will not be sorry. I have been working on glocks at my shop for a while and seen about everything but I can honestly say that GlockTriggers are the smoothest out there.
