Picked up my AR last Wednesday!!! Scope came yesterday. The scope is very nice. Lighter than I expected it to be. I hope to get it mounted tomorrow. I'm not sure when I'll be able to zero the rifle. What programs do you suggest using to determine the drop of the bullet and matching it to the reticle, and how does this work specifically? I'm very new so forgive my ignorance. Once it gets mounted pictures will be up. The info on here is fantastic. Unfortunately I find myself reading the forum instead of studying, sometimes you need a break from graduate school. Well back to the books.

If you make an account at Midway, they send you discount codes via e-mail, also specials and such. I didn't have an account at Midway for the codes. When I do my online shopping I go to retailmenot.com and look up the website to see if they have discount codes. Lucky for me the codes were still functioning. UPS says that the scope will be here on Monday. I'll be picking up my AR tonight. I'm really looking forward to getting this mounted so I can venture into the world of 3 gun.

Both versions of the scope are available now. The matte black version is $40.00 cheaper. I'm looking forward to getting mine in the mail. UPS says Monday with the PEPR mount and Scope. I'm stoked to get this thing on my AR.

I've been wanting to get into 3 gun for awhile now... Just got my first AR and this thread lead me to get the Burris 1-4. I got the Matte black for 299.00 Today from Midway USA.
