  1. Thanks all. I called Dillon and after speaking with several of their experts they think the part I received was correct, but they are going to send me a new ring indexer and indexer block because the block may too have worn over time. I do have tens of thousands of rounds on the press. Keeping my fingers crossed for the round 2 parts. Not only is Dillon support awesome, but you all are as well. This is why I tell all my fellow shooters to only buy Dillon progressive loaders.
  2. Dillon sent me a new ring indexer after I broke my other one in half. The old ring indexer that I broke was a light brown/off white color, but the new one Dillon sent me this week is black. I installed the new black ring indexer along with a new spring. I removed the primer punch and used the alignment tool to adjust and tighten the platform to the correct specifications so that the alignment tool didn't move up and down in the powder measure as the alignment tool passed through the primer hole. After all that the pointy part of the ring indexer hits the top of the indexer block. I am unable to clear the indexer block even by moving the indexer block. I am at my wits end. It most be something simple right? It's either something simple I haven't figured out or the indexer ring is not the correct one for my press. I bought my Dillon 650 new around 2010. What do you think? Anyone else had this problem?
  3. Hello all. I caught the gun bug in 2005, and it has been a thrilling ride since. I dabble time to time in trap matches and highpower rifle, but 95% of my shooting is Bullseye pistol. I shoot in 2 leagues each week and shoot in most NRA sanctioned Bullseye matches if they are within 100 miles. Also, I have been to the 2009 and 2010 National matches at Camp Perry. I found this forum after tinkering with the idea of buying a Dillon 1050. I know I really don't need one, but I'm pretty sure that I'll have one sitting next to my Dillon 550 by next Winter before I reload my 45 ACP again. I have about 9K peices of brass and do all my reloading around this time of the year.
