In my 9mm kimber I run 9# variable power spring for steel challenge 100pf loads and a 10# for 135pf loads.

Got off of the couch and did some quick loading. I will try and be 123-125 power factor on my ICORE load, power factor minimum is 120. To get some base data for this project I loaded round nose moly bullets @ 1.50 OAL 14 rounds of each 135, 158, 160 gr. I used tight group 3.8 grains in every load. Average for 135gr was 888 fps, 158gr was 844 fps, 160gr was 842 fps. ES for all loads was 12-16. Barrel was 6".

I agree that lifter is a finger trap.

CR speed belt worth every penny. I use CCW shell holders, best price with velcro added behind them.

I would like to make 130 pf load with Tight Group. I am using billy bullets 148 and 160 grain bullets. Ive got a chrono looking for a starting point.

I read that thread and called them today the service/parts people had no clue what I was asking. I was told that i could not even special order such a barrel. thanks for the name. Do you know her department? or her number.

Could not pass up a local deal on a 24" turkey. OTD 500.00 I can't wait to tinker....

Ive ordered a 930 turkey model with the 24" ported barrel. Could not wait and had to pick it up great deal and local. I plan on getting another barrel ordered that I can have cut at 22". Until then if I were to cut the barrel at the ports and run a cylinder barrel what would this length be? am I better off covering the ports? How could i seal the ports until the new barrel comes? looking for a quick and dirty fix until i get another barrel. I should get the new 930 in about 12 days!!!

I currently shoot a Remington 870 and have all of my shell holders those goodies. Accessories are not included in the budget. I want a second gun and it has to be a semi-auto and run on wal-mart federal target loads or similar lite and cheap loads. With a 1500.00 budget for my shotgun I’ve got a couple of option’s what do people think?
Option
1) Benelli M2 comfort tech 21” with Nordic tube and c-rum lifter then wait a year to have Benny Hill do all of the competition work.
2) Mossberg 930 with all of the Tactical Benny Hill work done to it.
3) FN SLP with welded lifter and sure cycle or similar system for lite loads
That’s my list I will purchase in 2 months or so…
What is the Benny Hill Mossberg all about anyone run one? Pics? Experience?
How much less maintenance is a Benelli vs. a gas system?
Best Chronograph? need to buy one...
