  1. Hello,

I have and old CED7000 that has been working flawlessly and I decided to add a CEDgo light for practice in a crowded indoor range. The CEDgo works as intended by itself, had no problem pairing the TX and RX and the signal gets trigger when I press the test button. The problem comes when I plug the TX to the Aux output of the Timer, it sends one signal while plugging and seems to get stuck (shorted) while plugged.

I’ve tried calling CED for support but after leaving some voice messages I had no response yet. Does anyone here has experience this problem?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

  2. OK that is certainly fair enough. I'm curious if they worked when loaded down by one, and how they work once the springs are broken in.

The biggest sell for me is the 22nd capacity mags and the clear bodies for dry fire. (No primers in dummy rounds)

I let the springs loaded at max for over a week and it make no difference. I guess if you use + capacity pads it will relief pressure on the body. But if I have to invest on other parts to make them work correctly that makes them more expensive than ultra reliable factory mags. It is nice looking though... But looks only take you so far.

  3. I don't think using them in a carbine and then calling them crap is really fair. They were designed for pistols, not rifles. I just shot my first few rounds through them. So far they functioned fine.

They wouldn't lock on my Glock 19 loaded to capacity on a closed slide and they didn't drop free from the swelling of the body. So it is are really a bad product
  4. I bought a couple in 9mm 15 rounds (G19 magazine) to try them out on my JP GMR-13. They won't feed the 15 rounds without swelling and getting cought in the magwell also is impossible to get them to lock on a bolt closed. I give them a try loading them with 14 rounds and after shooting the last round the bolt hit the follower and took it out of the magazine. So, bottom line... This are absolute garbage and a waste of your money.

  5. Also keep in mind that Winchester 231 is very similar, some people claim is the same powder. In the Hogdon load data center shows the same loads for both powders.

I've never used H38 but I have load W231 for 9mm, 40s&w and 45acp. I like it and is a great powder all around. The burning rate is similar to VV N320

  6. N110 is the most accurate powder I have found with the 300 Whisper/Blackout. 1680 is a close second.

The 125 Nosler is an excellent choice as is the 125 Sierra Matchking. For plinking and cheaper ammo, the Speer 125 TNT works fine.

Can you share some recipes for n110?

  7. I just did a batch of this bullets with 4.9gr of Clays and 1.250 OAL and shot a few over the chrono with an average of 707fps 155pf. They don't make major and I won't feel comfortable putting more Clays on them but shoot very accurate with a nice snappy recoil. I think I like this for practice.

  8. I kept messing around with this bullet, since I'm stuck with quite a few of them, until I found a load that works OK. I'm using a short overall length combined with fast powder (Clays) and loading toward the top end of the loading data. It works fairly well, but I still can't wait to finish up these hollow base bullets and get some regular 230gr berry's again.

Can you share your recipe with Clays? How many grains and OAL...

    Thank you!!
