Would you prefer to own a gun that is LNIB with no marks of any kind (supposedly shot 6 times), with no box or paperwork, or a lightly marked (minor holster wear,light scratch, etc) with box and paperwork? Regardless gun will not be shot much. Thx,Joe

I've lurked here for some time, and been a member for a short time. I see that most all are either using .45 or 357 with some 38 Super thrown in. I've found a PC 44 that I just love the "LOOKS" of. Already have a 44 that I don't use much if at all. Does anyone shoot a 44 in any of the competition games. I guess I need an excuse to part with a grand. I will not hunt with it, just absolutely love the looks, as already stated. I certainly don't need it, but I want it, and just trying to find out if it could be used in competition? Thx, Joe.

Hi all, is there any appreciable differences between 625-2 and 625-3? Both are 5" barrels in 45acp. Price is about the same. Thx Joe

Have decided that I'm going to try and compete in 2011. Want to buy a S&W 625. Now the question. After lurking here for some time most of the members reccomend 4", which is fine. However, I've found a 5" prelock. Would this put me at any advantage or disadvantage over the 4". Have shot forever,(retired LEO) just not competively, so I'm not up on rules. Thx,Joe
