  1. It's impossible to have seen this sketch and not yell LLAMAS any time you visit a zoo or see them on television, billboards, etc.

  2. I love it!

    Cooking for hours...so that the house smells so good that you start drooling the instant you walk into the driveway... going camping in the desert with Benos, lilgary, BigJoni, and friends and mutts...gravy... stuffing... mashed potatoes... PIE... ALL OF IT!

    I'm so excited!

    :goof::wub::cheers:

  3. I would bet $100 that someone at my next major match says, "Well, yeah, but Rob Leatham thinks about what's for lunch before he shoots, so that's what I'm doing these days, too."

    :roflol:

    We sometimes clutter our minds at critical points of a performance with conscious input which is not conducive to retaining the high level focus needed to execute. Most of this is pre-programmed before the buzzer goes off. Sometimes at the match, sometimes at the practice range.

    This is applicable to everything. The struggle (my enormous struggle, anyway) is to clear the mind of the 'conscious input' when you're doing anything; which is to say to not think of anything while you're doing everything. Listening to the sound of each object as you set it down on a surface...

  4. What is the difference between Bison and Beef ?

    Before any of you start I know buffalo and cows

    Bison is a lot leaner and generally has a lower caloric content but higher protein and iron. The ribeyes are fantastic because the higher fat content, which you don't get in other bison products, contributes to an unbelievable, almost buttery flavor. Ground bison burgers have a similar creaminess to the taste. I'm pretty much a filet mignon person when it comes to beef because I don't care for the chewiness that fat provides, despite the fact the the 'flavor comes from fat.' Bison ribeyes are as good, if not better when BE grills them, than filet mignon. Also, bison almost never come from feedlots like cows often do so they are messed with a lot less than cows, in terms of antibiotics, hormones, etc.

  5. I definitely didn't think I was ever going to stop laughing after the fight scene. One of the best ever!

    In related news, there are two apps available for the iPhone for the movie: one is the Ted Soundboard app, featuring sounds from the movie, the other and IMO better, is an app that allows you to insert images of Ted in various poses into pictures that you take/have on your phone. Hilarious!

  6. This Saturday, we didn't have any plans and the night just kept unfolding, bluegrass band at a local bar (that ended up being a BAD*** band), back to a friend's house with a good friend who's moving back to Kansas soon to take over the family farm, to The Porch, to a backyard bonfire birthday party, and then bicycling home with my Virgil and best friends just as the dawn began to break. It was so beautiful...
