  1. Thanks...

Main shooting season now over, so need to spend some time on this gun.

Need to do some work on the trigger...and the recoil spring needs to be investigated.

In any case, managed to win gold in one of the IPSC Cups (best of 3 out of 4 matches) this summer.

Actually shot my Glock 17 in Production in the last competition - GREAT FUN and BACK TO BASICS!

  2. I have used Saigas but never owned one.

Now I have a race Molot Vepr and an Akdal.

Like the Vepr 12 a lot.

Mods include most things and Left Hand Charge, new stock (AR-style) etc.

Sure helped me and us win the Gold Medal Team in the Nordic Championship. I finished 4:th.

  3. Indeed, that guy ROCKED the Army Target stage. Funny, the targets seemed to work for him... must have been a total fluke :roflol:

In the Nordic & European Championship I think he got beat by people with 18 and 20" ;)

    Can't blame him...getting an AR-15 in Denmark isn't easy. I guess about 10 people own them...or less.

  4. Nick,

Two years ago at SMM3G, we had a guy on our squad from Denmark shooting a really short barrel AR, like a 14.5. He was a friend of Kim (you know Kim from Vegas, tiny guy)

He did quite well on all they stages with a short barrel gun.

I guess you mean Mr. E Wolff? I Think he's got farly simple optics too.

It's the indian, not the bow ;) Danish champion

11th place in the Nordic Championship, held in Sweden

11th place in the European Championship, held in Bulgaria

  5. I don't see the benefit of moving to a rifle gas length and an 18 inch barrel personally. As rumors are the 14.5 middy is the softest shooting combo you can get.

    Not true.

    I have both, a JP CTR-02 18" and CTR-02 14.5".

The 18" is much smoother to shoot and is my first choice. The 14.5" has the gas setting almost maxed out, and has a noticeable more violent movement.

For double taps I know what my choice would be, and what would be quicker to shoot.

Precision is the same, but you will not get the same "punch" out of the 14.5".

  6. From a recent IPSC Rifle match with a JP CTR-02. Very snowy and icy conditions, so I fall but make a fairly good and safe recover (I Think).

    I'm on Jallas with spikes.

Need to improve skills while laying down.

    Managed this score: A hits: 18, C hits: 10, D hits: 2

    Points 122, Tid: 37,46 seconds

    Managed 90%

Best time was 34,84, I was second fastest but 5:th overall due to score.

    Won the match :D

  7. CzCustom can help you to import JP rifles.

I received my LRP07 last year. Now I am waiting for my JP15.

If you order Schmeisser or Oberland and you want to add a compensator, change the trigger, the stock,... it is very expensive too. And it will not be the same quality.

There are at least 2 companies in EU that imports JP Rifles, and their prices are fair. One in Luxemburg and one in Sweden, there might be more. I have tried importing via CZ, but gave up. Partly it was a local dealer's fault, but CZ Customs didn't help in any way, quite the contrary in fact.
  8. Most if not all parts should interchange. The threading might be different, I Think OA runs M14x1? OA uses high quality CNC machined uppers and lowers. I don't like their (anyone's) quad rails but the M1 you can configure just like any rifle from JP etc. Configure it they way you like, get a good trigger and off you go. I recommend a 18" barrel, but not too Heavy.
