  1. Thanks... Main shooting season now over, so need to spend some time on this gun. Need to do some work on the trigger...and the recoil spring needs to be investigated. In any case, managed to win gold in one of the IPSC Cups (best of 3 out of 4 matches) this summer. Actually shot my Glock 17 in Production in the last competition - GREAT FUN and BACK TO BASICS!
  2. I have used Saigas but never owned one. Now I have a race Molot Vepr and an Akdal. Like the Vepr 12 a lot. Mods include most things and Left Hand Charge, new stock (AR-style) etc. Sure helped me and us win the Gold Medal Team in the Nordic Championship. I finished 4:th.
  3. ON "standby" take a Deep breath. Hold the gun stronger.
  4. I use a 200 meter zero. Almost zero at 50 m and a little high at 100 meters. And I have a nice hold over Point in the reticle at 300 meters. The I refer to the bullet trajectory for other distances.
  5. I've seen broken exctractors on JP LRP-07. Same issue?
  6. I prefer the Lancer for the metal lips. It's a great mag! Like the PMAG for the floor pads. About 50/50 which I prefer.
  7. Great report, but I seem to notice the splits are longer with the 14.5".
  8. Thanks. I already have 3 JPs, so I know. It's the thing about being first in line (november order) and getting served last I didn't like.
  9. In the Nordic & European Championship I think he got beat by people with 18 and 20" Can't blame him...getting an AR-15 in Denmark isn't easy. I guess about 10 people own them...or less.
  10. I guess you mean Mr. E Wolff? I Think he's got farly simple optics too. It's the indian, not the bow Danish champion 11th place in the Nordic Championship, held in Sweden 11th place in the European Championship, held in Bulgaria
  11. According to my information they will stop Selling it to civilians.
  12. JP PCS-12 ordered in november, so pre all the current sh*t. Still didn't get it. Sucks to be outside the US as they got the priority.
  13. Not true. I have both, a JP CTR-02 18" and CTR-02 14.5". The 18" is much smoother to shoot and is my first choice. The 14.5" has the gas setting almost maxed out, and has a noticeable more violent movement. For double taps I know what my choice would be, and what would be quicker to shoot. Precision is the same, but you will not get the same "punch" out of the 14.5".
  14. Got a CMORE, Classic style. 12 MOA, or if it was 16 can't remember now. Not sure about long distance slugs now...
  15. From a recent IPSC Rifle match with a JP CTR-02. Very snowy and icy conditions, so I fall but make a fairly good and safe recover (I Think). I'm on Jallas with spikes. Need to improve skills while laying down. Managed this score: A hits: 18, C hits: 10, D hits: 2 Points 122, Tid: 37,46 seconds Managed 90% Best time was 34,84, I was second fastest but 5:th overall due to score. Won the match

  17. There are at least 2 companies in EU that imports JP Rifles, and their prices are fair. One in Luxemburg and one in Sweden, there might be more. I have tried importing via CZ, but gave up. Partly it was a local dealer's fault, but CZ Customs didn't help in any way, quite the contrary in fact.
  18. Most if not all parts should interchange. The threading might be different, I Think OA runs M14x1? OA uses high quality CNC machined uppers and lowers. I don't like their (anyone's) quad rails but the M1 you can configure just like any rifle from JP etc. Configure it they way you like, get a good trigger and off you go. I recommend a 18" barrel, but not too Heavy.
  19. Yes and the wording do it if it suits you...
