Shooting 135 gr with 8.5 gr. of long shot powder is the best load i have used. Anybody got a load for supercomp powder.Sti gun has a 9 port comp, just tring to get the C-more jump down.

I am learning about my 40 cal. STI open gun. I started with 180 gr. and Universal, know loading 135 gr. and Longshot.Longshot at 8.5 gr. is good, so I thought 9gr. might work better. But it seems to be snappier,but does not seem to work the comp any better. I have hear the 38super guys use small rifle primers. Does that help work the comp?

I have a STI in 40 cal, It has 9 ports on the comp. Looking for a good load for this gun. Have shot 180 grain with 5.9 of universal, but the comp seems to be not working well. I don't know . Any suggestions?
