Went to range today and two of the six mags were still creating stove pipes or just a empty piece of brass back In the chamber. I do believe it is something to do with the followers and or slide stop. Anyone else experience any issues with there slide stop on a trubro? If that is not the issue I will be getting a new ejector and believe that could be the issue as well.

What's a good Oal to go with? My oal is 1.25.. My first plan is gonna be to shorten the ejector and see what that does.

Anyone have any problems with a lot of stovepipes? It seems that my brass is ejecting to high and bouncing off my cmore back in to my chamber causing a stovepipe or close to that effect. My guess would be too long of an ejector or maybe too much tension on the extractor. Any advise on the matter would be appreciated thanks?

Cameron's took about two and half months for me and I had it ion bonded. Not a single issue at all either.

Ace hard ware had all if the DAA screws.

Dang too bad I ordered one already... I am sure you could sell in classifieds super fast. If you have the power pack with it I'll take that?

My first real competition gun was a STI edge after I shot a para p16 for awhile. I became very fast and super accurate with it. Thought it was a good idea to build a new edge although much lighter sold my edge to fund the project and was shooting within a month. Had the Brazos slide same as your pic from above and a Phoenix Trinity frame FDC great gun good fit but hated the recoil impulse was not a fan I could not settle on my second shot because the recoil or muzzle flip was much higher than before. I shot about 1k rounds if that before I sold it and ordered a Cameron's custom FDC and minimal slide lighting. The edge on there web page. I am a master shooter and prefer a heaver gun for flatter shooting I feel that I am much faster and my second shots are much better. Splits and transitions are alittle slower but can be worked on to get better. Lighter is not always better...

If you can shoot it before you buy make sure it cycles and if you need .40 mags hit me up I have some to let go:) if it's only been shot 2k rounds it's got to be very tight.

If you have no one to help you I advise a gunsmith doing it. The new EGW is the way to go it's way nice.

1911store.com has them. If you have a Brazos slide it's the Novak cut. I believe .330

Kinda of a weak turn out today because of how cold it was and plus a big three gun match was in Parma. The gun ran great and can't wait for the next big match with it.

Been reloading for two years now. Shot 100 rounds and all four of my TTI mags with no
Issues at all. We have a pratice match in the morning can't wait.

I have a custom Cameron's and it's so far the best gun I have ever bought and shot. The difference is you can pick how you want it like grip, internal guts, slide lighting, finish, ambi safety's grip safety's I prefer mine pinned. Basically when you buy a stock edge that could possibly need tuning and mag tuning and if your not sure how to fix issues I would get a tunned Brazos and Dawson should come ready to shoot. If you can buy mags from them too so they can match to your gun. Although nothing is better than a custom gun my Cameron's has ran flawless about 2k rounds to date.
Good luck the edge is the way to go too.
