Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Thanks for the fast responces. I'd love to get my feet wet asap unfortunately I have a final on Saturday so this weekend isn't good for me. I looked up West Texas practical and was surprised to find that y'alls range is located right by my cusin's family's farm. Another I noticed was that your memberships are for a yr and I graduate in December so I'm not sure as to how much longer I will be in Lubbock or where I'll be going. Before actually competing I'd like to get some instruction on shooting techniques, what I need and things like that. I want to go into this as though I know nothing about shooting. Thanks again and all help will be very appreciated Michael
  2. I'm new to this forum and compotition shooting. I've been around guns my whole life and the idea of compotition shooting has always been appealing to me but for some reason or another havent ever mainly cause I have no idea of even how to get into the sport. I just started reloading and now have a lot of free time on my hands so I figure why not try and do the one thing I've always dreamed of and I found this forum while looking around I found this site and from what I've seen so far it seems to be filled with a bunch of very helpfull people. Anyways I was wondering if there is anyone here from the lubbock area who can help me out with getting into competition pistol shooting? Also I heard somewhere a while back that there are compotitions for sub-guns??? I have an M11a1/380 and I'm getting a Lage upper for it as soon as they are ready (hopefully before the end of the summer) and would love to do competitions with it if possible.
