  1. I did. No big difference between that and the 7625.
  2. Here are some results so far: 1. 124 MG CMJ / 7.5 gn 7625 / 174 PF. Accurate, shoots good. 2. 115 MG RN / 8.1 gn 7625 / 172 PF. Accurate, snappy, gun returns to aim point faster. I like this one better so far. I also tried loads with VV N105 but with the 115s the ejection was not reliable. Brass also fell very close to gun. PF was about 175. Remember Im new at this so the results are based on how accurate and easy was it for me to get a good/fast second shot during double tap practice. I going to try a couple more powders. Will chime back in. Thanks to everyone who helped me with this project.
  3. Looks like the route Im going. I just found some 115 RN MG and some VV N105 at a local GS. Tnx for all replies. Before you even think about adding holes, try a variety of bullets and powders. Get some 115s, 121s, 124/5s and a few powders...N350, 4756, N105, 3N38, 7625, HS-6, Silhouette, are all viable options. No two people perceive recoil quite the same, and what seems nice to one person might feel snappy to another...that sort of thing. R, Now, Bart has spoken words of wisdom!
  4. It's the new design. tnx
  5. Need some advise here. Recently purchased a Trubor in 38 super. With the stock comp what is a good load this comp works best at? Would the addition of popple hole(s) benefit my application. If so which gunsmith would you recommend? Tnx..D
  6. Guys, tnx for the tips. As a new shooter this is extremely helpful
