  1. That is it!!! I wish it could be different, but there is no LEGAL way. Holy smokes! How about magazines, aftermarket parts and ammo? For that kind of money, I would try to get something that has been gone through by someone like Brazos or something. I would get tuned mags, and to be honest, still expect something to not work. I may even be more inclined to get a Glock or a CZ, and deal with the triggers. Are semi custom guns an option? I am really loving my new factory stock Edge, but I had to polish the feed ramp and play with brand new tuned mags to get them to work. Leo, are you in the same type of situation? WG Only imported products are so expensive. Ammunition and its components are made in Brazil, therefore are affordable. Concerning to magazines, recently I bought two Brazilian made mags for U$ 113,00 each. Don´t know about imported ones.
  2. I have an ultra sonic cleaner. It's much quieter than vibrating case cleaners, for sure.
  3. That is it!!! I wish it could be different, but there is no LEGAL way.
  4. Diehli, that’s the kind of information I was looking for. A gun like STI Apeiro or STI IPSC costs about U$ 8.300,00 in Brazil, where I live. Because of that I can't make wrong decisions or tests. I guess I’m gonna pick the IPSC model. Thanks for helping me.
  5. Thanks guys for the advices. I’ll take them seriously, mainly those concerning to leave some money for bullets, powder and beer. Even so I haven't made my decision yet. I am still in between Apeiro and IPSC models. So, there is one more question. STI says the Apeiro’s "island" bull barrel, with the sight milled in allows faster recovery to point of aim. Does anybody know how?
  6. Suppose I can afford the most expensive gun of those listed by Leo Pires. What would be the best choice for shooting IPSC standard division? I'm curious about Apeiro because it is different. Has anyone experienced it?
  7. Thanks for the welcome guys!!!
  8. I have been shooting IPSC for less than a year. Brian’s book has been very helpful and I hope I can learn a bit more from the more experienced shooters at this forum. English isn’t my mother tongue, so you’ll find some errors in my writings. Gun control in my country is nightmare for those who love shooting and good guns are pretty expensive. Only passion makes us go ahead.
