silly me... yep.. had my 9mm plate on there... must have gotten put in the wrong case when I moved... Thanks!

I am reloading some .223 on my Dillon 550 and had a large number of cases that I could not prime in the usual manner. When I go to prime they just get pushed out of the shell plate. Its not like I'm forcing anything; I'm just barely pushing. First I thought I need to tighten the shell plate down more but if I do its too tight and it wont rotate. The cases that aren't priming don't seem to be any different from the ones that do prime. Does anyone one have a clue what might be going wrong here?

I've been wondering this also, I de-prime and resize my brass then go to trim it and some of the brass is as short as 1.740 maybe a little less... stuff thats greater than 1.745 I've been keeping the others I've been tossing in my bad brass ammo can. I use a 550B with Dillon dies.
