  1. Okay, I want to make sure I fully understand this before I do it. Looking down over the top of the frame, magwell oriented straight down, and front of frame pointed forward, bend the trigger bar, where it connects to the trigger, toward the handgrip portion of the frame? Or are you saying, with the same orientation as above, bend the trigger bar, where it connects to the trigger, to where it more perfectly aligned with the center (bore axis)? Sorry for the dumb question, but center of the gun depends on the orientation of the gun. Best, Sven
  2. Hello All: I have been reading the M&P forum for a while, and am enjoying the DIY tweaks to the M&P. I would like some advice on increasing the tactile reset on my M&P. I have done the Burwell do it yourself trigger job, including polishing the trigger bar, polishing the firing pin block, and cutting down the sear bump. These have left a nice smooth trigger, but I have come to appreciate a crisp, tactile and audible reset. First, I notice that SSS has an increased power striker spring. With my Glock, when I went from the reduced power striker spring to the standard, the reset became more positive. Would this likely improve the reset on the M&P? Second, someone mentioned tweaking (which I understood to mean bending) the trigger bar at certain points would improve reset. Third, would an increased power trigger return spring improve reset? I am thinking it would move the trigger with more force, but am not sure it would increase tactile reset. Finally, if any good smiths out there can improve the reset, I would be happy to send it to them. Best, Sven
