I would like to see .22's allowed alongside the regular 9-.45's Many can't afford or can't find centerfire ammo at this point. There should be no other variation in the rules i.e. the same requirements for reloads and holsters. If the little guns can't take down a steel target then they're scored accordingly. I agree that the shooter must be up to speed on their safety and gun handling rules. It's not a "training-wheel" deal, just an opportunity to practice tactics & marksmanship at a lower cost. I also agree that it would be beneficial for the growth of IDPA.

Hi! I've lurked and read a few of the posts here from time to time and thought it was about time to join. I've recently gotten back into match shooting. Primarily IDPA and steel matches (love to ring the steel!) and a bit of USPSA. I shot my first Glock match a few weeks ago and had fun with that also. I had been a PPC shooter some years back, had been a range/training officer and let me tell you, shooting against some of the folks here in Vegas is an eye opener. We've got some really great talent in town and I figured if I'm going to play the games I had better get as much knowledge as possible if I want to be competitive. I have some marksmanship skills and want to increase those and pick up speed as experience grows. Thanks to the board Admins for hosting this site, which seems to be VERY informative. ~Bobby
