  1. Does anyone sell something specifically made to be attached to the grip safety to ensure engagement for a high grip?

I know I could just glue or JB weld a chunk of anything on there, but wondering if there is a pre-made option.

It needs to be functional so please don’t tell me to deactivate the grip safety.

    thanks

Send the receiver to Primary Machine and have them mill it for a dot.  It’s really the only way to get an optic low enough to get a good cheek weld.  I really like the circle dot reticle of the holosun 507c.

What do they charge to do that? It wasn’t listed on their website

We have drilled / tapped quite a few guns including M2s for Weaver, Picatinny and custom type optic bases. The rear section of the M2 receiver is thick enough to securely hold most optic mounts.

Sumtoy (and maybe others) make custom bases that set a Fastrife and similar dots lower on the receiver that rail mounting

Steve do you think that is a superior method to do it versus something similar to speedbead mount?

Its a Brand new spring    Could it be too long?

9-12” past end of tube right?

the rio and fiocci slugs are all the same length as are most all brenekee type slugs   No issues w same slugs in other two m2’s

I do not cut the spring at all. Get a new spring and don’t cut it. I’d guess that will solve your problem.
it’s a helluva lot cheaper to try this than buying new slugs to test out
