You can’t go wrong with this set up for the price!!!

Does anyone sell something specifically made to be attached to the grip safety to ensure engagement for a high grip?
I know I could just glue or JB weld a chunk of anything on there, but wondering if there is a pre-made option.
It needs to be functional so please don’t tell me to deactivate the grip safety.
thanks

What do they charge to do that? It wasn’t listed on their website

I do get the chance to fondle a JP or two here and there.

Yes I do. Take a look at using the Marlin rifle base in this link. We have installed that mount system on several hunting guns.
Burris red dot on a shotgun using a Marlin rifle base
Which mount puts the dot lower between the Marlin and the Sumtoy?

We have drilled / tapped quite a few guns including M2s for Weaver, Picatinny and custom type optic bases. The rear section of the M2 receiver is thick enough to securely hold most optic mounts.
Sumtoy (and maybe others) make custom bases that set a Fastrife and similar dots lower on the receiver that rail mounting
Steve do you think that is a superior method to do it versus something similar to speedbead mount?

Actually they do not offer a proof as a factory build.

Burris Speedbead mount. Docter Optic red dot, going strong since 2010.
Dang that’s a good run

Who has mounted a dot on their M2. Let me know how you did it and how it has worked for you. Thanks

It is doable, but you may need to play with ammo to find what it likes. Try SK match or Wolff
also use 47SS0216 for a discount through JP

Honestly the $15/mo amount is far beyond what’s its worth and I see a very very small % of members who would pay it. That said, that amount or fairly similar per year is more reasonable.
I also am not against a reasonable percentage of the sale as the amount either. -

Its a Brand new spring Could it be too long?
9-12” past end of tube right?
the rio and fiocci slugs are all the same length as are most all brenekee type slugs No issues w same slugs in other two m2’s
I do not cut the spring at all. Get a new spring and don’t cut it. I’d guess that will solve your problem.
it’s a helluva lot cheaper to try this than buying new slugs to test out -
Did you cut your magazine spring?

Thanks for the info. If I can’t get a local shop to cut the shroud on my Taccom ULW I’ll switch it to the JP.
Shoot me a PM for a JP discount code if you decide to switch over.
i shoot factory AE 115’s out of mine and prefer how they feel

Did STI quit selling frames? I would love to be able to find another master series frame for a build.
