Got a new 650 that im setting up for .45 and im having a problem adjusting the powder throw range and belling of the case. in order to get the case belled the proper amount, the powder bar overextends and the white plastic square with the hole in it goes flying. what am i doing wrong? Ive reloaded for years on Stars and 1050's but this is my first 650.

Thanks again for putting on such a fun match. See you next year!

did one of the washers fall out of the forearm?? look up a schematic and see if your missing them

Dont wait, just go shoot it and have fun. Also, run 69 or 77's, they hit noticeably harder than hot 55's
-
Look at what the majority of shooters run and run that.

Just spoke to Briley, they refuse to send the trigger to me directly. They insist it is not a "drop in part" and the tolerances are too tight. When I gently pushed them further, they said it's actually a liability issue as the manufacturer of the trigger. In a world of triggers which are sent directly to the customer (ie. Geissele, Timney, American Gold, Trigger Tech, etc.) it is highly inconvenient to have to send in your trigger group. Briley seems to have a winning product in a truly match grade trigger for Benelli's (and other Semi-Auto shotguns), but a losing sales and distribution policy. Highly disappointed in Briley as I would have bought one of their triggers in a heart beat. Since I have matches nearly every weekend for the next 4-5 months, I'll forgo the Briley trigger.
Its not a drop in like the aforementioned triggers. I got mine back pretty quick.

For those flying and shipping ammo, can you release a round count??

AR10 Ar Gold
The slightly taller hammer on the ar10 variant helps with the trigger reset issue.

Is there a better contact person for match sponsorship? Havent been able to get ahold of anyone.

I think that's the plan - local LGS says he can get them so was waiting to see what he comes up with - he was having trouble finding distributor. Otherwise I guess I will just order from Dillon or Grafs. Also looking at one in the classified that has Forcht setup and Mr. bulletfeeder etc but it's setup for rifle so would have to get all the conversion parts to get started on 45acp. That and I wonder if going full out with Forcht and Mr. Bullet Feeder might be to much of a jump from the 550 - like going from a chevy to the starship enterprise lol.
You're in Jax as well? Do you know of local Dillon anywhere? There's a small shop in Kingland, Ga over the state line that carries some stuff, but I don't know of anyone in Jax. Maybe St. Augustine/Daytona area? I wish Dillon had dealer listing on it's website.
I got mine through Brian Enos, not sure if he still has the deal but if you send a check instead of credit card, youll get a better price.. Youll be hard pressed to find one local.

just buy the 1050.

Thanks again for hosting such a fun match

Does anyone have any trigger time behind the Proof Research Carbon Fiber barrels? They look badass but id like to see some reviews prior to buying.

Got the trigger pack back from Briley and its awesome. Trigger breaks at 3.5lbs, short take up and no overtravel. Its the best Benelli trigger ive felt and ive tried TTI, Salient and C-Rums.

sent one in last week, will let you know once i get it back

which has the shorter reset, the ar gold or the trigger tech?

Just broke the pivot pin e clip on the deprimer on my 1050 and would like to try and get a replacement this weekend. Anyone know the correct size?
-
tried tightening it and couldnt get it any tighter with my hands. did some more testing and it only does it when there are over 5 shells in the tube. maybe too much spring?

Any idea Steve?
