Well if they are only making 40 total, I think we should file a protest on the limited gun not meeting the 500 quantity quota.
I think they are doing 40 per year in the Elite line and I don't think they are being built in the DW Factory as they are custom built.

STI barrel blank, Brazos comp, 2 holes, 5 inch tru-bore >3000 rounds
OAL 1.175
primer WSR
misc brass
Silouette 8.2g
MG jhp 124g
1385 fps
171 pf
Primers flat but not flowing.
When barrel was new <3000 rounds
7.4g silouette
1345 fps
For me Silouette is clean.
I clean my guns after every match or practice sesion though.
Are you sure on this one? 8.2 and a 124??? That seems really hot to me. Be careful there, those pressures have to be nuts.
Yep I am sure, olier chrono and area 2 cronos were both 171 pf. 1389 fps. + - 5 fps
I have backed off to 8.0g and do not flatten primers anymore.
1360 fps 168pf and shoots very good.
1.175 oal wsr primer
All crono's were done in Arizona 80 to 100 degrees fyi
I'm getting about the same thing with Silhouette through a KKM 5" barrel with 1 popple hole, 124 MG CMJ @ 1.163 OAL
8.0 goes 171PF and 8.2 gives me 174PF. The 8.2 load works the comp just a bit better than 8.0 grains. Primers are a little on the flat side with both 8.0 and 8.2.
One thing I have noticed with Silhouette, the SD for all of the rounds I have put over the chrono averages about 4 fps. Very consistent and reasonably clean at these levels.
I'm still working with True Blue and HS-6, the jury is still out. So far both of these have topped out just barely making 165PF. Also, plan to try some WSF and see how that goes.
WSR for primers.
The Major 9 Load that I am running out of my open Glock
OAL 1.15
Primer CCI SR
Win Brass
WSF 7.5g
Zero 115 JHP
1463 fps
168 pf
Primers look like factory ammo shot out of a Glock

Not sure what "Elites" you are referring to. CZ bought Dan Wesson in 2005 and to my knowledge has never produced any Customs until 2011. I too have had the chance to fondle one of the Elites, they are awe inspiring in both build quality and components. I have heard from people that attended the Shot Show that the limited guns will be running around upper middle 3k. The one I played with was the limited, they are right it requires no more tinkering and it felt like a solid piece of steel "no rattle, no play". Lightened slide, fibers, awesome trigger, and a barrel that shoots better than myself. The only thing you may want is more magazines, however it does come with 2 140s unlike other manufacturers.
