It's not a case head separation because the head is still on the case. It's a blowout of the web, where the case is unsupported (at the feed ramp). It really looks like a double charge or serious setback. Look at the primer flash hole...it's HUGE. If it was just a weak case blowout, the pressure wouldn't be so high as to expel the primer and make the flash hole double it's normal size.
I'd really like to know the exact details on the gun, model, barrel etc, and the exact load specs...it's clearly loaded to something along factory OAL, which makes a difference. R,
180 grn JHP Zero
4.3 grns Tight group
CCI primer

That was a tough video to watch. Everytime you pulled the trigger I flinched just a little bit until it finally ended in a cloud of smoke.
Good that you are OK. How did the gun fare?
And for the comment by the RO, "Bill, what did you do?" Who is Bill and what did he do to your loads?
My gun is OK and Bill is a friend of mine that does my reloading from me. He has load over a thousand rounds from me an had no problems.

Ya I am OK I got a little cut by my noose but other then that i'm good and my gun is fine but it stop extracting after that. They think it was a double charge or a bad case.
