Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Yes, I figured that. My 35 is strictly dedicated to bad guys. I just thought about purchasing another one due to their resonable costs. I've read some threads that talk about a Smith 5906, in which I have a performance center PPC auto, but I'm not sure if I could change the sights or not. It has the Aristocrat 3 position rear sight. Might be an option, I don't know. Can you have the stipling and grip reduction in limited and limited 10.

  3. Thanks for the thread, it was very informative. I'm ready to get out there and see what this is all about.
  4. I'm an experienced shooter just not for the competition world. I own several glocks, and I had some custom work done to my 35 being one modification was customized to fit my hand. It now has that XD feel which I always have liked. I just don't see much of the law enforcement world carrying the XD. To me that just don't seem reliable. I know that yes the glock has not been much for x ring accuracy, it always goes bang when I squeeze the trigger. I prefer 1911 or 2011 just don't have the budget right now for it. My main reason for the Glock is that I already have a few and not sure if the IPSC or USPSA is something that I am willing to dedicate myself to like I have PPC over the years. Our last PPC match is in August, so I thought about giving something else a try to carry me through the winter.
  5. I have a 35 as a duty gun and really like it, I guess I will attempt to locate another one and get started. Thanks for the info!
  6. I am interested in becoming a new shooter to IPSC and USPSA, and my question would be, what would be a starter firearm? I was under the impression that 34 and 35's are too long for production and wondering one is that true and two should I go straight into limited? What kind of modifications can be made and still be within limits, such as undercut, stippling, trigger pounds, etc?
