  1. 2.9 grains at 1.15 OAL. The only warning is that it tumbles in some guns. But no pressure signs in anything.

What charge of Clays are you using? I was thinking of Clays as I have alot of it on hand, thanks.

Thanks Duke, will try some in an M&P Pro and a stock Beretta M9, will chrono in these guns and check for tumble. I've found with other 9MM lead in the past, if I size to .357 and not .356, the tumble goes away, but as you said, gun to gun they vary

  2. I use clays loaded out to 1.15. Clays is faster than N320. N320 and lead gives off a lot of white smoke. Clays smokes less than 320 with lead.

From the Lyman 4th edition Cast Bullet Handbook: For Lyman #356637, OAL 1.058"

    Unique 3.2gr 810fps 25,600 CUP

    Unique 3.8gr 956fps 31,800 CUP

They don't list N320 or 231 but have several other powders listed. Unique has always been a popular choice for cast bullets in many cartridges.

  3. I know most will see it as a waste of time, but I single stage deprime all my revo brass (.38/.45/.41) and clean the primer pockets on RCBS case prep machine. Then hand prime them with Federal primers on a Lee hand primer. Then the primed brass gets loaded on my 550 with no die in station 1. Never have a light hit. I think it just is a way for me to make sure I've done all I can for my match ammo, so when I screw up it's all me, no blame on ammo.

  4. Just my niclke (2 cents adjusted for inflation) would be to keep revo at 6. I shoot revo in all the games and there just does not seem to be enough 7 & 8 shot revos to make a difference. You can shoot your 8 shot in L10, or open with a red dot. Unless you are jerry, you will not win in open against real open guns, and would be shooting for fun, so my vote is leave revo at 6

  5. We got new stuff today for the raffle, 1 year membership to USPSA from NC Section (thanks Bill S.) $40.00 in match bucks from Sir Walter Club (thanks Martin) match entry for Sniper Team Match at Damon's (thanks Damon) ((details will be on the website for the Sniper match))Appreciate the support. Sold some more tickets today, need some more sales to get the 2 guns for the side match, overall winner gets choice, each participant gets a random chance for the other.

  6. Official announcement now that all details are done. Mel and I, co founders of ZSA, Zombie Shooters Association, are going to get married on 16 October 2011 during a ZSA match, at "The Range" in Oxford, NC, home of "The Carolina Cup" Idpa match every June. Many of you on this forum know the Cup and the place, and many of you know Mel and I. For those that don't, here's your chance to meet us. Everyone is invited to the match/wedding (don't worry, wedding will be "do you, yes ect", "make ready") and we will have a pig pickin BBQ after the match. 6 Stages approx 150 rounds all pistol with a side match and way cool raffle to offset the expense. Please check the website for details. Thanks and hope to see you there.
