Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I would like to shoot standard JHP for the training. For the match, I think I will use Sierra JHP or maybe Hornardy XTP. But I saw on Sierra web site that all 9 mm bullets are out of stock. So I do not think my gunsmith is going to receive them quickly.
  2. Ok, then the standard JHP are accuracy bullets ? Golden Sabre and standard JHP bullets do not have the same jacket. Do you know the difference ?
  3. Anyone knows the difference between Remington JHP bullets and Remington Golden Saber JHP bullets (9 mm) ? What do you think about the quality of these bullets ? I would like to try to shoot Remington JHP bullets (Golden Saber are very expensive in France) in my SVI IMM when I receive it. (No MG or Zero bullets in France...)
  4. Anyone knows if there are fast loaders for SX3 ?
  5. http://www.speer-bullets.com/products/bullets.aspx
  6. Anyone tried to shoot Speer 124 gr TMJ in his SV IMM ? Did you have any troubles ? (buildup, bullets do not fly very precise or tumble,...) On their website, I read the lead core is completely encapsulated in pure copper (therefore no build up) and their new technology creates a true jacket... this is not very thin copper plated bullets...
  7. In Europe, there is a big difference in price between SX3 Composite and SX3 Flanigun (more $500). It is very expensive if it is the only reason. I thougt the SX3 Composite was a shotgun for the hunters and the Flanigun a sporting shotgun. I know that for the sporting clays we always use double-barrelled sporting guns because they are more reliable than the hunting versions... It is not the same thing for the semi-automatic shotguns ?
  8. Today Winchester offers only SX3 ? SX2 is old technology ? What do you think about the new model SX3 Flanigun ? I think the shortest barrel is 28"....
  9. You are right. Somebody told me the same thing. But I was wondering if there were two differents colors for this grip because the first grip shines not the second. Or maybe it's just an optical illusion...
  10. The grips have not the same color ? I make a mistake ?
  11. Hello, Anyone knows the difference between this 2 SVI grips ? I prefer the first but I don't know the name of this model... Thank you, Nicolas.

    SVI IMM

Thank you for your answers. You're right. In Europe the minimum bullet weight allowed is 120 gr to make major (160). It's not the same rule for you in US ? What's your barrel/compensator configuration ? Because SVI recommend only 3N38 for the tribrid barrel and 6 hybrid holes + compensator configuration. They say there are no knows substitute at this time... except for the barrels with fewer than 4 holes or 3 ports (without holes)... Nicolas

    SVI IMM

Hello, I am hesitating about what I should choose : an IMM or a SVI pistol with a standard slide and barrel (for the Open division) Some people told me it can have some problems with IMM. What do you think about ? The owners of IMM are satisfied ? I know the subject has already been dealt but I would like to have several opinions before investing... Maybe the people who own an IMM or a SVI open can post some photos. It could help me to choose the options... I am french and I am sorry for my bad english. Nicolas
