  1. Hi there I just acquired a second hand Jericho 941F two toned in 9mm. Safefty is frame mounted and barrel has a polygonal rifling. The 1st owner acquired this unit way back in 2000 before moving to Australia. I got my eyes glued to this topic since last week after I got this gun. Great thread and lots of info.   2. I agree with you guys and I just thought of asking the question here to confirm it. As a simple analogy, That angled cut at the bottom of the FPS will act as a RAMP for the hammer to pass under the retracting slide. Just my Dos Centavos folks and thanks for chiming in. :cheers:

  3. Oh I see, I was at a local range last weekend and I overheard somebody said the flat bottom FPS was designed to help decrease the recoil of 1911's. I dont know if its true and its the first time I heard that. Thanks for the reply BTW. :cheers:

  4. That looks like a KT ordnance frame. They have their frames furnace brazed together from two halves. The halves are machined, then pinned and brazed together.

    Yup its a KT ordnance frame and he is a member of the other home gunsmithing forum. I have two of his frame and its holding up pretty good. :cheers:

  5. Is there anyone out there who tried or evaluated these comp kit? I hope somebody can shed a light on these matter. By the way they are availble in cal.45 and .400cor-bon kits. I was planning to get one in .45cal thank you all in advance.
