Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

The 1st owner acquired this unit way back in 2000 before moving to Australia. I got my eyes glued to this topic since last week after I got this gun. Great thread and lots of info. BTW, Im based here in Manila Philippines and former Glock 17 user he he
  2. I agree with you guys and I just thought of asking the question here to confirm it. As a simple analogy, That angled cut at the bottom of the FPS will act as a RAMP for the hammer to pass under the retracting slide. Just my Dos Centavos folks and thanks for chiming in.
  3. Oh I see, I was at a local range last weekend and I overheard somebody said the flat bottom FPS was designed to help decrease the recoil of 1911's. I dont know if its true and its the first time I heard that. Thanks for the reply BTW.
  4. Hi folks I just want to ask if the Flat bottom firing pin stop (like EGW) has an advantage to the conventional rounded bottom FPS. Thanks guys
  5. Yup its a KT ordnance frame and he is a member of the other home gunsmithing forum. I have two of his frame and its holding up pretty good.
