Been shooting 147gr BBI molly's out of my G34 for the last year, no leading at all and performs great.

Would that be Scotty?
Think he told me it went for ATF approval months ago... still nothing I guess.

I truly had a blast with this match! Big thanks to Jake, Aron, and the cast and crew that made it happen. It's always a pleasure to reconnect with the rest of the forum members in person.
Thanks for showing me that sweet little camera of yours!
oh... and Micah made it on the news, as did Sarah and a few others.

weird, the one they aired last night on TV had Coach in it.

yeah, some of my Army brothers are built for desert combat, I was more of the arctic type
those who shot Sunday had great weather after the sun got up. I came in a long sleeve shirt and thought I was gonna fry!

wow, GREAT stages Coach!! Was a tad bit on the cool side, but the stage design is awesome.
-
and if you ordered a USPSA-Indiana TechwearUSA shirt, I will have them with me both days.
Came out nice, thanks kids for modeling so I didn't have too
-
4 seconds for the fixed time on all strings? You screwin' with us?
It's Coach! Who's stage design philosophy is "the easy stages were last match"
Make sure everyone has "East Bound and Down" playing on the drive to Riley!

Counting down the days!

Another great match at WVPPS, glad I finally joined and got in the Points Series.
Looking forward to working/shooting the WVPPS Open this weekend.
-
Weren't they all 3 Open shooters?
Send some Production/Limited shooters and they will probably fair a little better.
Probably why Blake did so well, was looking for the sight, not a dot.

I saw Coach's post on INGunOwners, I'll be getting an app in the mail this week.
I also posted it on USPSA-Indiana's FB page to draw some attention from our fellow Hoosiers.
Guess I'll have to drop the plastic and bust out the SS in honor of the 1911.

From a recent local match:
-
in that first one, dont think that was from a match, because they had a few out takes on that youtube channel where he flubbed the draw.
In one of the clips not posted here they called it "take 1" because he didn't get a clean draw and stopped.

what powder are you using to get no smoke?
Solo 1000 +1

That's why when I finally get my wife to agree to let me reload ("she somehow thinks reloading my own bullets "crosses the line" and qualifies me as a "gun nut") I will be ordering through the benos store...

That spreadsheet is great!

The term "unsupported chamber" is misleading.
All barrels must support the round they are chambered for and most guns that uses the modified Browning action have partially supported chambers.
You keep talking about "KABOOMS", but those can happen in any gun. A concern with Glocks is lead building up in the barrel.
If you read the book "Glocks in Competition", you will get some good info.
Most people who reload and shoot lead go ahead and put in an aftermarket barrel. I have G35 and Storm Lake that I shoot moly-coated BBI's out of. I only did that because .40 is a high pressure round.
I shoot 147gr BBI's out of my stock G34 barrel with no problem, I just clean the barrel.
