Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Well as far as competitin goes, I am more interested in the art of precision rifle shooting. As far as handguns go, I haven't been around them enough I suppose. On this particular matter though, The handgun will not be used for hunting Bears. I am not familiar wth the handgun world, but I have been around enough bears to know I wouldn't care to try hunting grizzlies with a handgun.
  2. Thanks for the info Kelly, might have to look into a custom built rifle from a variety of well distiguished gunsmiths.
  3. Thanks a bunch for the info. I will continue to check all the replys that come in.
  4. I am interested in buying Tactical/Sniper rifle. I was originally going to have a rifle built to my Specs but, the cost was toomuch for my income. I am looking for a precision rifle with adj. saddle comb and adj. LOP McMillan stock Leupold mil-dot scope, 1/4-1/2 MOA accuracy, and capable of shooting accurately out to at least 800 meters. I am currently looking at th Tango-51 built by tactical operations. Does anyone have any preferences between th Bravo, Echo, Delta, or Sierra models. It has to be a .308 or .300Win Mag. I am open to hear of any other rifles out on the market for under $4,000.00 Thanks for your input.
  5. I have some questions concerning handguns. What are the differences in calibers between the 10mm, .40S&W, .45, and the .44 magnum? What order do tey go in as far as size goes? Which would be bet for a personal sidearm in bear country? Would a .357 be a better caliber? What about accuracy, cost, and user friendly? Any info pertaining to this would be helpful, Thanks Justin R. Schmiedt
