The RMR MW’s cut clean holes in paper. I actually prefer them over the MPR (Nukes).
They had a 10% discount running in Dec. So check their Facebook account for occasional sales.

Alliant was sold to the Czechs last week. Don’t know if that will effect the supply chain. There’s also 2 wars going on. I haven’t seen Unique for sale in a year.

I own every powder mentioned so far. But what I’m presently using the most of is Autocomp.
5gr under a 124 Match Winner is a pleasant range load to shoot. -
This can happen when the CAPD return spring isn’t attached. But squibs are nearly always the result of operator error.

To Shred's point I have now seen two pistols come into the shop in the last 6 months with pitting around the firing pin due to most likely small rifle primer use with minor loads. On one gun I think it was only 600 rounds or so, but I am convinced that some small commercial reloaders have been loading with small rifle primers in pistol ammo if that is all they have. One of the owners told me that he used small rifle primers shooting minor (no I didn't ask what the load was). Years ago I used small rifle primers during a shortage with minor steel challenge loads and had the ring of pitting around my firing pin on my 2011 slide. I was told by the smartest shooters I knew at the time in my area that it was no problem. My gunsmith knew what it was immediately and told me to quit doing it.
I know that primers have been hard to find and understand why everyone uses them.
All I can say is on some minor loads the primer cup will not have enough pressure to seal between it and the case, and the gas will start eroding some breech faces. The cups on the small rifle primers have to handle +60,000 PSI in the rifles, and are tougher than the pistol cups.
If your combo is not pitting your breechface then go for it. I know lots of people shooting major .40 have used small rifle for years in their open guns and major loads with no issues.
What brand, Winchester?

You’ve posted this at TheHighRoad minutes earlier. ‘Cross posting’ the same thread across multiple forums is poor Internet etiquette.

By far, my favorite is the Zero 115 gr conical HP. Problem is, they just had a tremendous price increase….
Yeah, they raised prices an alarming amount. Might as well buy HAP’s now.

Bring back the 2oz tubs…..please. I bought the BE anodized alloy caddy designed to perfectly fit them.

Operator error. And I would suggest disposing of the FCD in the dumpster.

Maybe they're suppose to break...like a shear bolt on farm equipment.
Anyway, OEM's are back in stock. https://czcustom.com/cz-p01-slide-stop.html -

Go to the factory in UB and talk to the engineers about the shockbuffs, strangely they'll disagree with CGW. But of course they are just shilling those $1.50 shockbuffs that last like 10k rounds.
So they're okay with polymer guide rods in the SP-01?

Initially, the S2 had issues with cracked frames. The next year, the Black and Blue model was released which made minor changes to the frame.
If the original S2 came with buffers, I don't remember...maybe they did. I use them on my gen 2 S2's. I don't think it really makes a world of difference. -
The Lee Universal decapper has no problems with Norma brass. And it actually enlarges the flash hole.

I find it interesting that Tom Selleck has fans in the Netherlands. Wasn't Magnum PI like 40 years ago?

Every once in awhile I run into a case that’s too long. Here’s a S&B 9mm that’s grossly out of spec. But rather than trim, I just throw them in the dumpster.
The photo below is actually one that's was too short....I guess I threw the long one away already. -
His most accurate load is with N350 (or was).

Slide Stops
in CZ
Both my S2’s have two-piece brazed slide stops. I haven’t broken one yet, but for backups I bought Eemann Tech’s solid one piece stops.

The U die is not meant to resurrect garbage brass. And as depicted in the photo, can make it even worse.
It's purpose is to size the case 2 or 3 thousandths below SAAMI specification so ammunition will feed in a tight chamber.
In rare instances, it may improve neck tension but only in cases that are thin walled.
Brass is the least expensive component of reloading. I don't understand why people are hell bent on using every single piece they scrounge off the ground.

Roll sizing is the process of scavenging garbage brass. Any case that can not be properly size using a standard die belongs in the dumpster. But if you’re that hard-up for brass….go for it.

I read in the roll sizer manual the undersized die are “not needed” after roll sizing, but is there disadvantage to using a U die after roll sizing? Like I mentioned above I like the U die for no set back in major loads. Thanks for any input you have
They are not required and can cause reliability and feeding problems. Furthermore, the use of undersized dies with rollsized cases can create ammunition below SAAMI specifications which can also be unsafe. This isn't an opinion or a testimonial. It's what the manufacturer printed in their manuals.

Norma does this to enhance ignition.
Lee's universal decapper has no problem with the smaller holes. But my Reddings do.They're not worth messing with so they go in the dumpster.

I bet he's Mr. Popular at the local indoor range.

Will a 147gr be noticeably less snappy in a SP101? Shooting 124gr in my SP101 they feel stronger than in my S&W 986 which is negligible.
At first glance I thought you were asking about a CZ. I see now it's a Ruger. -
Back in Oct, CZC had them for $1650. I believe the 9's were the same price too.

You shouldn’t rule out operator error.
