  1. Yes it helped.

    Sorry it's metal not plastic.

Thanks Matt, did the same trick with filling up the dog space with a piece of coke can, coke zero actually

It helped indeed but it didn't take away all the thunking. I guess the thunking is now 50% less and I presume the rest is

due to the play in the bearings.

    thanks Matt for the tip.

  2. there's an awful lot of play in the bearings of my almost new 1050. I can literally move

the handle sideways and see and feel the play. This is absolutely what causes the thunking.

If anybody from Dillon is reading this, can they comment please? Is the play meant to be there?

Is there a factory solution? Do we have to solve it ourselves as Mythos did? :(

  3. use dillon lube and I bet it goes away....

    No sorry, it doesn't.

Same problem with my 1050, thunking/clunking on the sizing and swaging station on the upward stroke,

when the brass pops out of the die. There's a lot of play in the bearings which

seems to cause the clunking/thunking. My 1050 hasn't produced more than 4000 rounds.

And a tight cap doesn't help.
